Did you carry a fanny pack thru the park?? Any suggestions on where to buy a decent one?? I checked out sports authority thinking they would have a lot of choices--they had 1.

Thanks!

Wal Mart has some great ones and they are really inexpensive! Try the pocketbook section there!

I went on ebags and they had 1 waist bag. Any other places to look?

Wal-Mart, Target, KMart, and I seen some at Old Navy too.
Just checked the Disney Store, they didn't have any.

Wal-mart has a good selection of bags. I used a small sling-pack this last trip. I couldn't fit my camera and autograph book in a fanny pack.

we bought a killer fanny pack at a local sporting goods store - its made by mountainsmith - it wears in front, back or on the side, it has compression straps - it can be worn as a fanny pack, back pack, or carried by soft handles like a briefcase, or worn over the shoulder with a cushioned shoulder strap like a purse - very versatile. And it has good supports for the back should you wear it as a fanny pack. Has several pockets, a main pouch, holds two water bottles and is cushioned. It can hold (I know because this is what I carried) two brita water bottles, a Misty Mate, a Sony TRV miniDV, a kodak Preview APS, wallets, maps, ponchos, fast passes, room keys, safe key, itinerary from CR, and descriptions and pictures of every activity on the WDW website that I printed off 4 per page so we could keep track of things we wanted to do.

it is an awesome bag whatever you call it whether fanny pack, backpack or purse. Well worth the money spent.
yeah mountainsmith

Try Target. I went there yesterday looking for one and found a TON especially with the school supplies out. There were some near the sporting goods, some near the camping supplies and some with the school supplies.

I got a waistpack that has a water bottle holder on it. You can use this feature or not but it has several zippered areas which is ideal for me. And a pouch large enough for my camera and rain ponchos!

Believe it or not, last year I was looking all over for a new fanny pack and could not find one that I liked. When I got to WDW I looked in the WL store and found a great one. I does not have WDW on it. It only cost around $9.00. I use it all the time and am bring it back with me this Sept.

Try llbean or Eddie Bauer. We got ours at the Eddie Bauer outlet its a nice size can hold 5 rain ponchos plus camera, a few snacks, sunscreen, water bottle.

We got ours off E-bay. If you want one that holds two water bottles and has quite a bit of room, check out PetSmart. It is designed to take hiking w/ your dog. It runs about $26.

Try GearLabs.com. They have a good selection and reasonable prices. I got a medium sized fanny pacck with a bottle holder on the side. The Brita bottle fits in perfectly. The pack has done well on several trial trips--My first Disney trip is in Sept!!!!

I always use my fanny pack for holding tickets, room keys, & cash. I can usual fit in a few more things like sunscreen, sunglasses or cellphone but it won't hold much more than that. I never have to take it off for rides :bounce: I love it! Got it at Disneyland years ago, complete with DL emblem. I see them there all the time. I bet you can get them at WDW. Of course, they'll cost more than at Walmart.:( and you may not have many options for sizes.

I would be lost without my fanny pack. I got mine in IOA, sorry Disney!!!!

I've gotten 2 at Wal-Mart and my last one I got at a luggage store in our local mall. It is really good sized and only about $20. Pefect for my camcorder, 35 mm, and other stuff. We also got water bottles in carrying thingies that velcro over your belt/fanny pack strap.

Wow Thanks for all of your replies. I must get to shopping now.

I am glad someone told me that they didnt have to remove fanny pack on rides--that helped.
