I don't like Fanny Packs, but I also don't want to have to deal with the lockers all the time. Do they let you take the fanny packs on the rides if your wearing them?

As long as they aren't huge ones that get in the way of the restraints, then they do let you. There are many fanny packs out there that don't really look like fanny packs and can double as an over the shoulder purse when not connected around your waist.

Maybe I'll look today for a small one. The one I have is kind of bulky.

Beware of Rip Ride Rockit. I've never been allowed to wear my fanny pack on it even tho' I never get a hassle at any of the other rides. FJ might be like that too; I wear cargo pants to WWoHP so I don't have personal experience, but in 40 rides I've never, ever seen anyone wearing a fanny pack on it.

You can wear fanny packs on FJ. I actually asked in line and wore mine in. The resorts --at least PBH -- sold a nice blue one that laid flat which was nice. Each of my girls bought one for their cameras and glass cases. I actually just buckle it and sling it on my shoulder like a purse. It only goes on my waist when I need two hands free or on a ride.

I've always worn a fanny pack on RRR. My daughter has as well. Perhaps it just needs to be a small fanny pack.

We also wore fanny packs on FJ without any question.

Yeah, might be the size because mine can carry about 3 days of camping supplies. Sadly, I threw out the couple of small ones I had because I never used them. Thank God for cargo pants.

Any more info on Fanny packs on FJ??...what about MIB??..I just bought a small black one that I will use over my shoulder till I want to ride.

I would LOVE it if someone could post a pic of their fanny pack that was OK for the rides!!...Iam starting to worry mine might not be small enough!:)

I just want it to fit my sunglasses..lipgloss..(yes I know;) )..Comb,,phone and small wallet.

Here is the lululemon one I wear. It isn't me in the picture...it's from their website.

It is not small but it is flat. Probably if I stuffed it full of stuff, there might be an issue.

You can throw is over your shoulder when you don't want it to be a fanny pack.

I have a fanny pack a little larger than that pictured one. However its is not completely full. I usually have a couple of ipods (to watch HP movies while in the FJ line) a cellphone bunch of cards and a large rechargable battery.

I have had no problem riding MIB or FJ with it. However I was told at the entrance to Dragons challenge that it might be too big and I should get a locker but that I could see if its ok at the ride but I might have to come back. I decided to gamble went through the line and no one said anything about it. It was a kind of a tight fit on the ride with the restraint but it worked.

One thing about FJ it is definitely better to carry stuff in a fanny pack than in unsecured pockets. I had an ipod in my pocket once and it came out and was sliding around behind me on the seat. I was able to grab it but I never ride with anything in my pocket anymore and I double check to make sure everything is zippered up on my pack.

Totally off-topic, but I recently learned what "fanny" meant in the UK, so I'll be sure not to refer to it as a fanny pack ever again.

Here in the UK we call them 'BumBags' or 'WaistPacks'. Could NEVER refer to it as a 'Fanny Pack'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lmao:

Yeah, I've always wondered why they're called fanny packs if you wear them in the front instead of above your backside and now I know why . . .

:rotfl:
