Just got sent this by a property agency I'm registered with in Orlando:
Dear Joanne,
Here is a link to additional information on Disneys new community:
http://www.nxtbook.com/nxtbooks/disneyrealestate/goldenoak/
In its first phase of construction, there will only be 30 houses, but Disney ultimately plans to build 450 homes and a 445-room Four Seasons hotel. The first homes of the initial phase are projected to be completed in 2011.
Initially, three types of detached single-family homes will be offered for sale from custom home builders.
Village Homes ($1.5 million to $2 million)
Capturing the romantic look of a Mediterranean village, these stylish Tuscan inspired homes will be located adjacent to the private proposed clubhouse on approximately one-quarter acre home sites.
Estate Homes ($2 million to $3 million)
Located on approximately one-half acre home sites, Estate Homes will offer a variety of architectural styles including Tuscan, Spanish Revival, Venetian, Italianate, Dutch Colonial and Island Colonial.
Grand Estate Homes ($3 million to $8 million)
A limited number of Grand Estate Homes will be offered on approximately three-quarter acre home sites. Designs are consistent with Estate Home architectural styles. Grand Estate homes are designed to accommodate the needs of large and extended families.
Homeowners will have full access to the Disney theme parks, as well as resident-only facilities, including private VIP tours of the parks, holiday home decorating, grocery delivery, an on-call concierge service, a yoga studio, a fitness facility, and a full-service spa.
Disney says interested buyers will have to make a refundable $25,000 deposit. This community is being built on the former Disneys Eagle Pines golf course.
Let us know if you are interested in being one of the first buyers of this community!
