We have a bit of a lie on today, before enjoying our coffee on the balcony, and then an amusing twenty minutes or so watching the Chilly Willy man, as you do. We have a nice realxing morning at the resort pool, as it is nice and warm, I read quite a lot of Richard Hammonds autibiography and we both are brave enough to venture into the pool before heading over to MGM.
The crowds are still quite low at this point, so we are able to see The Little Mermaid, One Mans Dream and Narnia, Narnia is new to us, and I have to be honest I didn't really get the point? After this its The Great Movie Ride, and then off to find a spot for the "Jolly Holiday Parade". We use one two of our snack credits each for a Mickey Bar.
The parade is very good, Giselle heads the line up.
We have an ADR at Prime Time, the food was good, but I think the novelty of this place has worn off for us both now and I don't know if we will rush back, our waitress was very good, and certainly in the spirit of things, she took the mobile phone of the teenage boy at the next table away from him, and proceeded to have a long conversation with his girlfriend, she then told him phones were not allowed at the dinner table and kept the phone until the end of their meal.
We both got the chicken noodle soup, Ian had meatloaf, I had the fried chicken, for dessert Ian got the Apple Betty I was too full for dessert. It was all very good.
The child at the next table was a horror from start to finish, he was about nine or ten, and he was so rude to the waitress, Ian managed to get this picture of my disgust, which I am mortified about, but he insists I post it
We manage to squeeze in a few more rides, and stop to watch the street entertainers who always crack me up, before we head off for another tour of the Osboune Lights, yet again they are amazing.
We leave the park and head back to Saratoga, where we sit out and watch the world go by, with drinks in hand. I am sure we must have tuned in to "Your Movies On", can't beat a good lady movie, by about ten, we both have rumblies in our tumblies and the very kind Papa John man obliges with a works with no olives, God Bless Papa John...
Tomorrow Christmas Eve, will Santa know where we are ?
