Fan Club...Has anyone been asked to confirm employment at checkin?

I think that I mentioned needing a FAN club card when I signed up for membership. My card is being sent out today from Ric.

Also, could you give me a HINT on where to find that number? I have looked and looked. I have my membership card printed out, but would like to have the number as well. Thanks!

Open up the link I posted, then click on member benefits on the left hand side. Then scroll down to Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations. It is listed in that paragraph. For making "just room ressies" (not a vacation package) you just use the code FAN. You don't need a card (again, paperless) to show at check-in, just tell them what group you are affiliated with.

But, the # is there if you need it! HTH

do you have a yahoo email address. If not this could be the problem. The first time I tried to sign up I tried to use my aol address. I was declined. So I tried again this time setting up a yahoo email address. And I was accepted. Maybe it has more to do with the email address you are using. Try creating a yahoo email address then see if you can get accepted. Just a thought it worked for me.

the idea of a typo with the security word or number is a good possibility. I did not use a yahoo email, so I don't know about that one...

Oh my goodness. What a geek I am. I did sign up for yahoo e-mail that day, but I had my initial membership request go to my AOL mail. So, right now, after reading everyone's kind responses, I tried again using the yahoo e-mail. I was accepted within a few seconds. You guys have no idea how badly my feelings were hurt when I was rejected, lol. In fact, I decided my 16 year stepson must have been going to porn sites when home alone and they thought I was a scuz and wouldn't accept me. So, I came home, talked to his father and checked out the computer history. GUESS WHAT, he had been!!! He got so busted for nothing, lol. (of course, he says it must have been his friend doing it while he was taking a shower, PUH-LEEZE) I hit the ceiling for him embarassing me and my husband had a man to man talk to him about it. I still can't stop laughing now thinking he got caught for nothing, lol. I mean it wasn't an overly dramatic scene that night, but I was in the background going, I got rejected because of that, I got rejected because of that, lol God works in mysterious ways.

now i can still say, i have never met anyone that was denied membership for mouse for less site.
