We saw the guy who played 'Willow' in the movie! We couldn't believe it! He was there with his whole family.

I saw him too... In May of 2003 at MGM Star Wars weekend. He was signing autographs.

Last Oct., we were at MK and I am pretty darn sure I saw Adrian Brody (The Pianist). He had a beard and was wearing a hat with a young lady. I smiled at him, and he just smiled back and went on his way. Not for sure, but DH said he thought it was him too. It was pretty cool! :cool1:

we saw a guy who looked like a bona fide santa claus ( out of his red suit of course)at epcot a few years ago. wish i'd taken his pic now

We saw a man at MK last December, that if we hadn't known better, we would have thought it was the Big Guy himself. He was dressed in red pants, red shirt and red suspenders. It was too funny, all the little kids would just stare at him with there mouths hanging open. We told our daughter that even Santa takes his vacation at Disney World.

Not a true "At the World" sighting, but another Disney family member sighting. About 7-8 years ago, we saw Raven Simone at a crappy diner in Auburn Hills, MI. At the time she was still "that little girl who had been on the Cosby show". She took a few pictures with people outside the restaurant and signed a few autographs. My husband was more thrilled to see a few of the Detroit Lions players eating there at the same time, but for me I would never had known who they were if he hadn't of pointed them out.

That man in the red who looks like Santa is there ALL the time!!!!!!! He is the reason I became friends with another DISer. She posted her vacation pictures on line and while I was looking at them I noticed in the background of her Spaceship Earth picture Santa was on his scooter..... So after PMing her to tell her about the man in the red suit we continued talking and became friends and met for the first time last December at MVMCP. WAY COOL
A couple years ago we were wandering through Osborn Lights and I saw him sitting along the curb with Mrs. Clause so after many minutes of decision making I finally snuck over to him and asked if he would be offended if I brought my DD then 7 over to him so she could meet the "real" Santa. He just looked at me really funny and says " We are the real Mr. and Mrs. Clause. hehe.... My daughter thought that was the coolest thing that Santa was taking a quick vacation before his trip around the world!

We were there one year and ABC was doing a promo for their prime-time Friday line up. We saw Corbin Bernson, all the kids from that show with Topanga (I can't remember the name of the show) and the Home Improvement Kids. In fact, it was right after ESPN cafe opened at the boardwalk and we waited over 2 hours for lunch (after taking our orders) me and my best friend and the oldest son and his parents had quite a chat about it -- very cool!

Has anyone ever seen Bon Jovi at Disney??

Off topic but I have to say this SORRY. As a card carrying member of the Bon Jovi fan club I must reply to this -- if your talking about the band collectively it's Bon Jovi if you are talking about the man Jon Bon Jovi, it's Jon Bon Jovi and not just his last name. (SORRY, all in fun, please don't hate me) :earboy2:

Actually, it's Jon Bongiovi.

I have never met a celebrity but in 2003 there was a huge commotion going on off to the right of Dumbo as we were getting off the ride (in the open area on the way to Tomorrowland and Toontown). I saw a bunch of people running over with autograph books and overheard someone say there was "some celebrity" (no name) but I just used it as an opportunity to jump on another ride-lol

You are correct but if you want to get technical it is John Francis Bongiovi -- that's what's on the birth certificate. I was just making it easier as not to REALLY confuse people. But yes, the Jovi Gods bow to you. :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

(I hope people realize I'm not trying to be a wise guy and only messing around here -- or should I say mousing around)

Nope, I didn't think you were a wiseguy.
Our Moms were friends and I know him from school so it's hard for me to keep silent when people are gaga over him. Especially my two younger sisters(and they're 39 and 37). :flower:

I saw the wrestler Mick Foley (Man Kind) riding the pooh ride with his kids :cool1:

I rode the elevator with him at yankee stadium a few weeks back. I didn't even realize it was him as I don't watch wrestling. I later saw his face on TV and It clicked.

I was also next to Derek Jeter in traffic.

Just last night I was part of a taping for a PBS special at the Magic Kingdom.

Pianist/musician/Songwriter Jim Brickman has an album coming out in October with Disney Music. Right at the entrance to main street they had a complete set. I was part of the audience because I'm in Jim Brickman's fan club.

Special guests last night were Wayne Brady, Lila MCann and Michael Bolton. It was quite cool! The PBS special airs sometime in November/December.

Sorry, I left out one of the special guests last night! They were Wayne Brady, Lila Mcann, Michael Bolton and Linda Eder. Linda Eder had her son with her, he was so cute!

In 1994, waiting outside of the Diamond Horseshoe Review for the next show, my DH said "there's that woman from TV... the one with the annoying voice". Sure enough, Fran Drescher walked past with a large group of people. Never occurred to any of us to take a picture... it was just kind of a "Where?" "Oh, so it is..." kind of moment. ;)

I tell you, I'd HATE to spend my vacation at WDW surrounded by that many strangers, though.

LOL, ok you guys do realize that these are all ordinary people right? I've met quite a few people, but noone that would ever make me pass out, drool or lose control of myself over. It does seem like noone is ever good looking until they hit it big, then they are, LOL. Just remember guys, they are human and like to have vacations too...truth be known, their lives are probably way more stressful than any of ours. I read that when Kelly Clarkson won AI, she didn't sleep for 48 straight hours due to all the interviews and appointments...I don't think I could swing that.

I'm not particularly interested in "celebrities", because, as far as I'm concerned, they're no different from you or me.

However, out of all 17 pages, you saw the ONE person I would definitely go out of my way to meet. Fred Rogers. That man shaped my life more than anyone outside of my immediate family. I would've loved to shake his hand and thank him. What a great man.

Awww, come on. You're maybe just a teeeensy bit interested since you read through 17 pages of this thread. ;)

I'm being playful, because I'm the type who always professes to have no interest in celebrities who are "no different from the rest of us" and yet I find myself reading this thread time and again to see the latest reported sighting.

And I agree, of all the celebs mentioned here, Mr. Rogers would top my list hands down.

:)
