On Fantasy - in the Family Verandah Concierge, is the only option for sleeping the regular bed (queen?) and the sofa sleeper? No option for 2 kids not sleeping together like a pull-down bed?

If you are talking about a Cat V, I think all of them have the pull down bed from the ceiling. They are all supposed to sleep 5 so you should be able to give each kid their own bed. Our first time, the kids alternated each night for who got the pull down. My son is too tall for it now so my daughter gets it full time. Enjoy your cruise.

family verandahs that are NOT concierge sleep five - one queen bed, the sofa bed (which doesn't pull out how you might think - it sleeps one), the pull down bunk from the ceiling (sleeps one) and the murphy bed that pulls down from the wall (sleeps one).

EDIT: sorry - that info is for the non Cat V!

This is not true for the Concierge rooms on the Dream class ships. In those rooms, the sofa beds pull out just like the ones on land. The 5 berths in a Cat V are 2 in the regular queen, 2 on the pullout sofa, and 1 on the pull down bunk. No Murphy bed. The suites on the Dream class also have queen pullout sofas not the single flip over types.

On the Classics, the Cat V still have the flip over sofas along with a Murphy bed and a pull down bunk. I can't remember about the sofas in the suites.

Thanks for info. Is the ceiling pull down in the same area as the sleeper sofa or is it in the area with the queen bed? So hard to tell from pictures.

It's above the sofa.

The layout has some challenges. When the sofa bed is open, you'll have a hard time getting in and out of the verandah door. It also blocks some of the storage in the desk. Just make sure you plan ahead before the room is made up in the evening.

We stopped traveling concierge because of this set up. The two kids sharing a bed worked when they were small but was not going to work after that. We were not in a position to do a V and a T so ended up trying non-concierge. The set up in the family ocean view and family veranda works much better for a family of 5 versus the V.

Here is a picture.
