Helllllo everyone! :) We will be staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort toward the end of March after a fantastic stay last February. This time we have chosen not to do the parks, and will be enjoying our time at the resort. We are looking to see if anyone has any suggestions as to what we can do at any of the Disney resorts. I know right now is not a prime time to "resort hop", but we never seem to have any down time to visit them and would love to check a few of them out. Any must do's that we should swing by for? We did make a reservation for Whispering Canyon, and if I can somehow snag a list minute Chef Mickey I will (not likely I know).

We would also love to have a beach day. We are renting a car so that is it not a problem. Any suggestions on which beach we should maybe go to? We are from Maine and are used to going to the beach often. Should we visit the Atlantic or the Gulf?

Any suggestions are welcome. And thank you!!!!!!!

If I was doing a non-park trip I would probably take some of the Disney transportation as a "ride." I love the boat ride from Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom or the campground, so you could do that before or after eating at Whispering Canyon. If it wouldn't be too sad to see the Magic Kingdom you could ride the monorail or big ferry boat there. You could do the skyliner from HS or a resort to Epcot them walk to a resort for a snack, even take the boat from Yacht Club back to HS entrance. You could do a kind of Disney transportation/ special snacks crawl.

I love to hunt for hidden mickeys. Visiting a resort and searching them out is high on my list of activities that any age group can participate in. Of course, ending each resort visit with some kind of snack is mandatory.

Agree about Disney transport as a ride. Also, depending on ages, my son loved seeing the cars character statues as Art of Animation (he was almost 3 yrs old at the time).

I am thinking this too. I want to create a plan of a good way to go to several resorts. I will have to do a bit of research on this! :) Definitely would like to do all forms of travel with the busses, boats, skyliner, and monorail. Thank you! And DEFINITELY allllll the snacks.
