Family trying to get in IOA with used tkts!

I thought of this thread when we were in line yesterday.

We had a family in front of us that had a pile of tickets and they didn't know who's ticket was who's so they wouldn't validate for that finger. they had to go threw every ticket to figure out who's was who's. The girl would not listen to the ticket agent who is telling her that everyone should have their own ticket. She just kept telling the agent that we are a big group. The agent told her regardless of the size of the group she has a job to do and she was going to do it. She actually buzzed someone for assistance because in her works "they were irritating me " lol

And even after this the same girl said to everyone give me your ticket and piled them all together again so that next time they try to go in they will have the exact same problem. lol We are now watching to be sure we are not being them in the line to get in lol

I can understand keeping the tickets together so that none get lost, but they should write their name on the tickets so that each guest has the right one, going through the gate.

Isn't there a place where it says to sign them anyway? :confused3 We have AP's so our names are on them.. I thought the regular tkts had a line where you still had a place to sign a name so you would not mix them up with someone else's.... I know Disney's does.. even their AP's have a place to sign...

I've got an AP too so I don't know. I know people had to sign them in the past, but I don't know if that's still required because of the finger scans.

I have not signed mine  I do have my old one with my picture that I keep in the holder next to the new one. In the event the scanner doesn't work & I have to show ID. I also use that as ID when going thru the parking area. Sometimes they ask for ID, sometimes they do not. Rather than have to dig out my Drivers License, I have my old pass with photo ready to go....:goodvibes

I just looked at the tickets I got at the AAA office. There is a signature line on each one. We have always put our names on them just to avoid confusion, because for whatever reason I have been deemed the official
"TICKET HOLDER/EXPRESS PASS HOLDER" for my DH and two kiddos.

Because you're the mom!
And apparently you're DH is LE. So you're the designated everything.

My DH is also LE and doesn't have patience, time, energy for being anything but a body being drug around with us.

I had problems with DS' Disney pass the last time we went - three times! For some reason each day the ticket turnstile thing said that it had already been used that day. Each time we were sent off to the Guest Relations area to resolve it.

By the way, kudos to the Disney CM who finally figured out that Disney had somehow issued the same ticket number to two different people and that's why we had the problems. He said it was probably a computer glitch but it killed a lot of valuable time!

:rotfl: :rotfl: So very true. Although he absolutely LOVES going to Universal, he is the first to volunteer to take our little girl back to the hotel room for an hour of rest time. :rotfl: :rotfl:

This year I invested in a sling backpack from Crocs. It has a great pocket in the strap upfront that holds our hotel cards, and our tickets with easy access to unzip, show, and put away. I got it on ebay for $15 and it holds a lot.

Sorry for the confusion. I meant people had to sign the multi-day passes instead of the APs.
