Family trip in June

Hello all! I, just like the rest of you am an avid Disney follower, and I will be going to Disneyland this summer. June 20-27. There will be 5 of us going: Myself and my 2 kids ages 8 & 10 and my girlfriend and her son. This will be my "who knows how many times visit" to Disneyland, this will be my kids 2nd time to Disneyland but my girlfriend and her son have never been! Can you believe that!

Anyways, I am getting set up with dreamsunlimited and they have been great. At first I was going to do the good neighbor hotel, Howard Johnson, but she sent me an email giving me a quote of the Paradise Pier. So after thinking about it I decided that since we will be there a week that we might as well enjoy all that is Disney.

We plan to get there on the 20th and hit downtown Disney. The first day we are actually going to Universal studios since no one has been there other than me. Get that out of the way so the rest of the time can be spent on Disney property. Im a hardcore Disney goer, there as the gates open and there til they kick me out. My mom took us there tons of times and we never broke for a nap so why break tradition.

Just thought I'd share my vacation with everyone since summer is almost here. We all cant wait!

Just to give you a heads-up, The Future Business Leaders of America will be holding their National Leadership Conference at the convention center June 24th-29th. Over 8000 high school students and their advisors (like me) will be staying in the hotels around the convention center and playing in the parks. You may want to consider this when you make you plans.

Wow, wish I had heard about this sooner. But I guess there's always something.

But what's an extra 8000? How many ppl are there per day anyway?

Plus, they will (I assume) be busy at least for most of the days too

I found out about that a few months ago, but those are the dates we have to go. Besides, if there has to be a large group there, they sound like a good group. However, I'm hoping they will be busy with their convention activities much of the day too.

True, many will be in competitions or seminars during the day. Nights might be the time many go to the parks. The best days for the attendees to go to the parks will be the 24th, 25th, and 28th. It might be busy during the day on the 29th because that is the day everyone will be leaving.
