Family that gets to "Open" the Park

Can you ever arrange for this in advance for special circumstances or do you just need to be there early and be picked or ask the right people?

Looking to do something special for my Mom and this idea just popped in my head.

I don't know if you can pre-arrange this or not, but we were chosen in December of 2006 and it was a great experience! We did nothing special, although it was our last day and we were the first people in line, we were hugging and laughing and talking a lot about our experiences so far. It is a really great memory that we still love to talk about.

If you could pre-arrange this the wating list would be super-long I would imagine. You could show up at 5:30 and just hope for the best and at the least you will still be there super-early for the opening.

DD and I were chosen one time because the family who was first in line asked the CM if they could be "chosen." He very graciously asked if we wanted to join in! It was a great experience!! So, if you are first in line and catch the attention of a CM before anyone else does, you have a great chance at having an amazing experience!!
