Does anyone out there do "Family Tee-shirts" for touring?

If so, wanna share your pics?

We did on our last trip and it was amazing how easy it was to spot each other. We will be doing it again this time even tho MIL is protesting.

We do a family shirt from disneyshopping.com each year. However, I recommend you get one of the shirts from the creative boards. Since lots of other groups had our same t-shirts. We will do that next time.:)

We got one from Disneyshopping for our trip last month. While we were not the only ones in the park with those shirts on, it still looked nice for photos with our group of 11.

We did on our last trip because a. I like being able to instantly spot the kids and b. I was kind of curious to see if the photos looked nicer.

I made a set for us during our November 2005 trip and we bought a set from disneyshopping.com for our Christmas 2006 trip. I thought it made a major difference in the pictures and it was nice to spot the other family members so quickly (especially the lime green shirts we wore in December :) ).

:thumbsup2
We did! I would suggest that you have shirts that identifies where you are from or something. The day our family wore T-Shirts supporting our alma mater, several people talked with us. We found out what a small world it really is, when we meet up with some people at a bus stop who live in a tiny town next to my husband's hometown. As we talked we realized we had a friend in common and caught up with what was going on with that friend.

One of the Disney bus drivers went to the same college. We sat behind him and we all enjoyed sharing stories.

We had two sets of different family sets. Looking back at the photographs,
I think I like these shots of all of us over some of the other family ones.
:yay:

Cutest ones I saw were at SW. A whole family was there and it was a birthday of a special person. He had a shirt that said his name and that it was his birthday. Everyone else in the group( and it was a huge group) had a shirt that said" Wish Ben a Happy Birthday" on the front( changed the name to protect the innoscent<G>). On the back it had their relationship to Ben( Ben's Aunt, Uncle, niece, friend, etc) They were getting lots of comments from people n the park.

My Daughter, Husband and I wear them every year. Also make the tye dye Mickey Head tshirts to wear. People always stop you and ask where did you get you shirt. I tell them to check out the Disboards and look for the creative board. Also, I tell them it is addictive.:cool1:

We do the matching shirt thing too. Last year we were there on Mothers day and I had seen shirts at Old Navy that said I love Mom(love was a heart symbol) and wore those to the Mothers Day brunch at EPCOT. Other times we've gotten shirts (tye dye) from a street vendor here, my mom made us shirts for dinner at Ohana. We have lots of matching shirts but we don't do eveyday matching. I did see a really cute shirt design a DIS family in line behind us at Dumbo all had on the mom said she got the idea from the DIS creative board and had done them herself. It does make it easier to spot each other and if heaven forbid a little one gets lost you don't have to try frantically to remember what they had on, your pictures do look nicer but when you get home everybody asks "why are you all dressed the same?"

I bought matching T-shirts from disney shopping. Some members of my party are already complaining about how silly they think they will look, but they have been told to zip it. DS10 and DH are not very happy to be matchy-matchy, but they can get over it. I am excited and can't wait to get the whole gang (7 of Us) in matching shirts standing in front of MK Castle.

No, we've never done the matching shirts thing. Then again, I have a 16 yo who likes to pretend she's not with us from time to time. A matching shirt would blow her cover, you know. ;)

Wait, I think I saw that movie;

We're the ambassadors of America here.
To be accepted, we have to fit in, speak the language...
...wear French clothes. That's why I got us all berets.
Come on, Dad.
This is really rank.
Come on now, Russ. Loosen up.
You don't want to look like a tourist.
All the French wear these. It's the national hat.
I won't wear it. It looks stupid. No girl will want to talk to me.
Then I guess they'll all talk to me.
I vote for berets.
I second the motion.
Berets.
That's three-to-one. You lose, fellow.

I suggested matching tshirts for one of our trips and even bought matching sweatshirts for our Christmas trip.DD 14 pretty much said she would rather stay home or as she put it "die" than be caught in clothes that match ours.

We have a group of family going to watch my DS and DNiece and their marching band perform over Spring Break this year. There are 10 of us in my immediate family and my DBrother's family. Plus we have 12-15 other family members coming for the performance. We are all going to waer matching t-shirts for the performance day at MK. We bought purple shirts at Hobby Lobby and are sponge painting and stamping them (school colors are purple and white). Then the 10 of us, that will be at the parks for the rest of the week, are making a couple of other matching shirts for other days. This way we can find each other more easily. This was mostly the kids idea. We are having so much fun making them and can't wait to wear them on our trip! Almost 1 month until we can be warm!!!

If you go down the bottom of the main disboards page you will see a forum called creative DISigns. That is the t-shirt board. They have tones of great ideas. I did matching shirts for 9 of us when we went in Dec 05. We had a lot of attention.

P.S. love your user name!!! It's my real name! LOL
