DH and I designed a t-shirt for our extended family WDW trip in September. What do you think?

:thumbsup2 That's wonderful! You did a great job. I'm sure your family will wear them with pride. Have a wonderful, magical trip!

How did you do that?? I am not creative or talented but want shirts for our family when we go in just 26 days.

ginad-- We downloaded and installed the free Walt Disney font from fontspace.com. We used Word Art in Word to make the circles (we divided the names evenly between the ears and used twice as much in the head as in the ears.) Then, we copied and pasted each circle separately into paint and saved them as jpeg files. We could then put them together in the Mickey head shape in Gimp (free photoshop knock-off, you can downoad it online). Gimp can be a little hard to use at first, but whenever we ran into a problem we just googled it. HTH, there might be an easier way, but that was how we did it.

I have Windows 7 and have Microsoft Works Word Processor. I have tried finding word art on it but have yet to find it on there. Am I not on the right program? I would like to do something like this and also name fill designs with our names.

On my version of Microsoft Word, to get to Word Art you go to "Insert" on the toolbar, then a drop down menu should come from "Picture," and Word Art should be in that menu. There wasn't an option for a circle when first inputting text, but we put the text in then editted it and there were more shape options.

I will be taking my entire family to WDW for Thanksgiving and would love to make this shirt for our trip as well. I also had difficulty in finding "word Art" in the Word program. Does any one know of any other way to type text into circles? There are 11 of us going and I wanted to get a head start on the shirts, i want to make 3 or 4 different ones for the different days we will be there. I want to co ordinate them with the parks we will be visiting and this one is PERFECT for the magic kingdom! Any help or advice you can offer will be very much appreciated. thank you so much for sharing your wonderful idea with us all!!

I go to Microsoft Works Word Processor and click on "Insert" then scroll down to "Picture" and out to the side of the word "Picture" it says "Clip Art, From File and New Painting" :confused3
