Hello, I tried to reply to a post earlier and ask this but it somehow got lost so if you saw it already sorry!

I have read lots of stuff about family style dinning but I am not exactly sure how it works. My family of 5 has reservations for the Norway dinner. Me and my 3 daughters (10, 7 and 5) are vegetarian. Do we each order an entree or do we pick one or 2 for the table? Is there a salad bar that we go to ourselves? Can my 10-year-old “adult” order mac cheese from the kid menu?

:confused3

Any info would be appreciated! I like to know what to expect so I can prepare my kids!

3 months until our vacation!

Here are answers to your question

"Family Style" is currently used at Liberty Tree Tavern in MK and the Garden Grill in Epcot. The Skillet at Whispering Canyon Cafe in WL is similar. The meal is served in bowls, trays or other central dishes which are brought to your table and each person fills their own plate (or whatever method you choose) from the bowls, etc. The server will refill some or all of the items as requested.

The meal at Norway is not served family style (except dessert). The menu is not exptremely descriptive. The Koldtbort is a very large buffet. However most of the salads will tend to have meats or fish in them. If your daughters will eat fish they will have no problems at all.

Thank you! I thought Norway was family style! Ooops!

I think I have it now!
