Family style meals

This may be a dumb question but on the restaurants with the new family style dining why is there such a discrepancy on the price? 35-59$ is a wide range. If it is a fixed menu why does the price fluctuate? Trying to figure it out before I book. With a party of 6 there becomes a big difference between 35 and 59.

35 is typically the child cost and 59 is typically the adult cost

The only family style we did this pass Dec was Whispering Canyon. I think it was about $35 adult. Well worth it. The family style dinners upwards of $60 is a bit much. Especially with the limited character interactions. We also did a prixe fix menu at Chefs de France for under $50.

We have always enjoyed Whispering Canyon. Plenty of good food. Have done breakfast and dinner there several times.

That is the price range for almost ANY restaurant that is listed as Unique/Character Dining and rated $$$. Not just Crystal Palace.
