Family shirts

So my kids are really into The Incredibles. Today I went to The Disney Store at our local mall and bought matching Incredibles t-shirts for the whole family. The best part? They were on clearance for $6.99. I was tempted to buy more (they had different styles as well), but I restrained myself. I also bought a Dash hat for my son to wear (also on clearance -$4.99).

Has anyone else done matching shirts at Disneyland? May I please request to see pics?

So is the family shirt thing cheesy or what? No one else has done this?

I don't have the photos with me, but we did something similar in our last trip to WDW with the IL's. I bought each of us a white shirt with our favorite Disney character. On the back was our last name with the corresponding number, i.e., FIL was 1, MIL was 2, DH was 3, I was 4, 1st DD was 5 and 2nd DD was 6. (Order we became family members.) Anyway, they were commented on favorably by others in the park and FIL who usually hates that stuff consented to wearing his shirt twice in one week (after laundering of course).

One lady asked where DH got his shirt and he told her "a garage sale."

MIL's a big garage saler so we got a huge laugh from that one. I thought, "Yes, pretty expensive garage sale at Zazzle!!!!!!!"

In Sept. our family of 3 had matching shirts on a couple of days! we had lot's of fun with them and enjoyed the nice comments from the cm's and other guests. this year, dd13 and my mom and myself are going to Disneyland ! a nice grandma surprise!! and we all 3 got tinkerbell shirt's from the disney store to wear, Come on JUNE

I don't have pictures....but we bought 5 of those Incredibles shirts for the kids on our December trip in 05. It sure was easy to pick them out of a crowd! originally i had only bought 3, one for my two kiddos and my nephew. when my other neice and nephew showed up, i bought them at one of the stores in tomorrowland.

we also have had family shirts for each trip. i usually get these on clearance online at the disneystore. for our trip next month, i have some 50th shirts i bought at the warehouse store.
