I am planning my family reunion for 2013(yes i am early but i need help:thumbsup2) we are a group of 30 people or more.

I have convinced everyone to stay at :love:RPR  My son(16) and I usually stay at RPR and love it but since my boyfriend and his kids(DD 14 and DS 9) are now apart of my mini family I dont know what to do:confused3 . I love RPR but i cant imagine 5 in the room even though they say it can be done :confused3 .

I have already spoke to Ron(i think) in the group department(very helpful.)
I have an email with prices and all of that. Im just so so excited I cant organize my thoughts to ask him all the questions at once :rotfl:. I dont want to sound like a nut job when i call him back 700 times, so I will bug the boards pros first :rotfl:.

My questions are

1- How tight of a fit is for 5 in a room?
2- Has anyone ever stayed in the Jurassic park room? Did the kids like it?
3- Anyone ever planned for a group this large before:scared1:?

Any and all advice welcomed.
:surfweb:

Thank you

you have 2 adults in one bed.
probably 16 yo and 9 yo boys share the other bed.
the 14 yo girl could sleep on an aero bed on the floor or on a rented rollway.

now if the kids are average size, and not large, that might work if you are only going to be in the room for sleeping an showering.

the closet could hold 4 large suitcases with the other cases set by the wall.

if you are only going to be there for a couple of nights, it might work.

if all of you need your own bed, or if you plan to spend time in the room, plan to stay a lot more nights there, it probably won't work.

since this is going to be for a family reunion, could one of the kids stay with another of the relatives for sleeping purposes if they have less in their room?

i've done it with 3 boys before but we were only in the room at night time when we were ready to go to sleep.

i have one question for you.

are the ages of the kids, 16-14-9 their present ages or the ages they will be in 2 years when you do this family reunion trip?

that might make a difference for your question ' how tight will the room be'

once a person is 18 staying as a guest in the hotel, they are considered an adult.

with adding an additional adult, there is a $25 hotel fee for each night at the hotel.

Thanks for the info. I usually dont have a problem planning trips because its just my son and me or a nephew but this large group is totally different.

I actual reunion the breakdown is

me- BF, son 12, daughter 16, son 18, me
cousins fam- her, hubby, son 12, daughter 4
sis- her, 3 sons(9,19,14)
cousin fam- her and dd 12
cousin fam- her and auntie
parents- mom and dad( lol)
cousin- him, wife, daughter 4

others are all singles trying to figure out whos staying with who :sad2:.

smh people who cant make their mind is the biggest problem.

since you still have 2 and a 1/2 years before the trip, maybe some will drop out of the reunion trip.

good luck with your planning!
i'm sure you all are excited.
