Family Reunion

I need some help for all the experts here...My DW and I are planning a huge family reunion for our 10 year anniversary next August. We are hoping to book 7 rooms at VB, but don't know if it'll be possible.

We would love to grab a Cottage, but know that's a wish...so at the very least, we would like to book 7 Inn Rooms for all in the party. If anyone has any experience or thoughts, please let me know.

Also, where in VB would be the perfect dinner for everyone, about 20 of us, ranging from great grandparents to kids aged 4-15.

We were in VB one March, and there was a family in a cottage who had booked it less than 7 months out. I don't think you would be as lucky for an August trip, but who knows.

If you are booking at 7 months, I would book right at that mark. Once I was trying to get a DF an OVIR for June, made the reservation in December and the waitlist never came through. She did have a garden view room.

Summer is the slow season for VB (the area, not the resort). I'm sure you'll be able to find good restaurants that can accomodate your family. 2 weeks ago, we did the Pirate Dinner (Monday nights) right at VB and it was lots of fun for the kids and adults and the food was very tasty and there was plenty of it. We had 11 people.
