Help me please! I called today and booked a family protrait session in June. I am so excited! Now, here's my problem. We have to meet the photographer at the International Gateway in Epcot at 9:00 am. I know that the International Gateway is on the back side of Epcot and have entered this way when we stayed at the Swan. How will we get there from the WL? We will have a car. Can we park at one of the disney hotels (boardwalk, swan, etc.) and ride the boat? Suggestions? Anyone else ever tried to do this? Thanks in advance!

I'd drive to the BC...it's a short walk to the International Gateway from there.

You could also just take the bus to the studios, and catch the boat from there over to the International Gateway. It's slow, so allow plenty of time.

You can not park at any of the hotels. That parking is reserved for hotel guests. you can either drive to epcot or take the boat to MK, hop on the monorail, transfer at TTC and take a bus to one of the epcot resorts. Or you could just take a bus from MK back to one of the epcot resorts.

Have a great trip.

If it were me and I had a car, I'd drive to either the BC or the Boardwalk. If challenged, I'd tell the truth - that I was instructed to meet the WDW photogrpaher at the International Gateway. Can't believe you will be turned away. (It is inconsiderate to park at the EPCOT resort hotels if you are planning to spend the day at EPCOT, but IMHO, your situation is different. That said, it would be very considerate of you to move the car to the EPCOT lot after the photography session if you planned to stay at EPCOT for the day).

If you don't want to do that, my advice is to just take a cab to the BC. It'll cost about $10-12, including tip. As mentioned, it's just a short walk to the IG from the BC entrance. You can take Disney transportation to wherever you need to go after the session.

Hope the pictures turn out to be even better than expected.

Enjoy the trip!

Sorry, you can't park your car at the BC all day. Not to mention taht the lot is now across the street and more than a short walk. They'll give you a three hour parking permit, and they tow if you overstay your welcome.
