Hi - you are allowed to stay in a 1 BR until your fourth child is older than 2. We asked this when we bought in Feb because we had 4 kids already. The guide noted that we would have to stay in a 2 BR once the baby got over 2.......
That's true only for BLT and AKV.
BLT and AKV 1 bedroom villas officially sleep 5 plus an infant under that age of 3. There is a king bed in the bedroom, a queen sleep sofa & a twin sleep chair in the living room. A portable crib, similar to a Pac 'n Play model) is provided for the infant.
MS currently allows 5 of any age in the other
DVC resorts' 1 bedroom villas, but not 6, even if the 6th is an infant. Officially, those villas sleep 4 + an infant. There is a king in the bedroom and a queen sleep sofa in the living room. A portable crib (similar to a Pac 'n Play model) is provided for the infant. Guests are on their own to provide bedding for the 5th person if the portable crib is not suitable.
Studios sleep 4 plus an infant. MS does not make exceptions for studios. 6 persons no mater what the ages would not be allowed to reserve a studio.
Anyone who would like to discuss occupancy may do so in this thread:
Max Occupancy in the DVC Resorts
jdiane - Occupancy tends to bring out the worst in some posters, so we allow discussion only in the thread listed above. Please feel free to post your question on resort recommendations again. I have to close this thread.
