Just booked the week surrounding New Years. This past year, we were at DTD and went to Fulton's. Very nice dinner, but not really a great place for a family celebration. DS will be 8 at the time. We've been to Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's many times before. Any suggestions for good family fun? (Any park, any resort. We're flexible.)

We had a fabulous New Year's Eve dinner at Teppanyaki in Japan. It was busy and we waited almost an hour even with PS, but it was great.

We had a PS seating at Le Cellier last NYE but never made it because of the pouring (torrential actually) rain. We plan on getting there this year instead. We ended up at the Flying Fish Cafe on the Boardwalk and had a great time. We have four kids and they loved it. They received hats and noise makers as did everyone else at the Boardwalk.

Happy bithday Cat..we ended up at Boardwalk because of rain and while we waited for our ride to OKW(DH went to MGM to get car and pick us up)we got more hats and noise makers also..along with the ones from Epcot!

We were "stuck" in Once Upon A Toy Store in DTD. What a great place to be stuck! We did end up getting soaked, though. After an hour and a half, we decided that the rain wasn't going to let up and headed back to the bus area. It was an interesting New Year's Eve. Hoping next year will be different.

Oh.... it's a dangerous thing financially to be stuck in Once Upon a Toy Store during a rainstorm.
