I wrote about the Family Magic Tour in great detail in last year's trip report: click here (look for the post on that page entitled, "Day 2: Grand Floridian (Part 2)"). I have links in that post to my photos of the event. My family had a wonderful time on the tour.

I just read it!! AWESOME!!! I have it scheduled for our last day there mostly as the last thing we do before getting into the car for the dreaded drive home! I can't wait and seeing the pictures were awesome!!! I can't wait as I'm not telling the kids either! (It will be me and the older 3)!!!

I am so excited because we booked this trip for our upcomming April trip. We have 4 adults & 3 kids (6, 4, & 21 months) doing the tour!

I can't wait!!

Thanks for the pictures Janet2K!! Great!

Doea anyone know how far in advance you can book?

Thanks!

I think you can book 1 year old. I know I booked my July one in November.

Okay, after reading that awesome trip report from janet2K, I called and booked the FMT for our family for December 5th, today. I thought I had seen somewhere that the character at the end can vary, which I'm assuming means that the storyline would change? I'm kind of hoping it changes since I know the secrets to the Peter Pan story. : )

If you have attended, was the story always that of Peter stealing Hook's hook?

Thanks
Mary

I just booked 1 today for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 children) for 5/27.

Also, the CM asked if I was an AP holder or a AAA member. I told her AAA, & she gave me a 15% discount.

No, we went on the tour in October, and the story was that we had to help save the Magic Kingdom from the villians, or else they would take over the park. In order to do that, we had to look for several different things around the MK to break the spell the villians were casting. We had a guide book, and if you didn't follow the book exactly(eg jumping, singing), the spell wouldn't be broken. Very cute, my DD5 LOVED it! ;)

Oh that is so cool Wendy31! We are booked for 5/27 too! 2 adults and 2 kids - I'll get to met a fellow diser on the FMT :flower:

Would this be considered "too young" for my kids who are 15, 13, and 9?

When we went there were two adults on the tour that didn't have any children along with them. They seemed to have a good time! They will definitely get everyone involved. Would your teens be embarassed at singing happy birthday all the way down Main St., or jumping in a crowd of people? We also had to pretend to play musical instruments in a marching band while walking, and several other things. It was a lot of fun!

We are the same after reading Janet2k fantastic tour we booked for the 20th May and just before that we have a CRT what a way to start our hoilday and our first time to Disney and my niece's birthday! :cheer2:

My husband and daughter are doing the tour May 18th. My daughter is very excited to go. I have heard nothing but good things about it.
