I think we're going to try this one next spring when we return to Disney. Anyone know how far in advance you can book it? I called the 407-WDW-TOUR number this morning, but the CM only said that she could book it until the end of 2006. I tried the PS Calculator website, but there was no info on how far out you can book a tour. Do you think it's a 180 type thing? Thanks.

Ok, unless I am terribly mixing things up in my mind. The old policy was that this could be booked a year (or two?) in advance. That will change beginning with tour dates starting 1/1/2007, those dates from then on out will be booked 180 days in advance. The same with the dinner shows and other tours I do believe.

We did this last year which as you probably have read was fantastic fun for all the family and at that time we were told we could book upto 90 days in advance which was the same as the CRT so a lot of calls were made!!
Good Luck!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Is this tour that popular that you have to do the wild phone calls like previously getting CRT? I just figured not that many people know about the tours so it would be relatively easy to book it.

I will be going on this tour this Saturday, and I just called to book the tour about 2 weeks ago with no problem.

I do agree we were told that we could book upto90 days before but when we actually went on it there were 4 guests that didn't turn up It was fun but I don't think that many guests do know about it we just didn't want to take the chance

Not sure how early you can book this tour, but we had a great time on it in 2004! Also, I don't think they book up very much.

In 2004 we had this tour booked. By the time we got to WDW I wanted to get to MK earlier than was on my itinerary. I was able to call WDW tour and reschedule the tour for the next day, 3 days earlier than when we were suppose to go. the only thing they tell you is if you cancel within 24 hours, you forfeit your money.

Thank you everyone for your responses. I called Disney back to alter my room reservation and got a very helpful CM (Thanks Conway)--he double checked on the tour info and what he found was that it is a 90 day window for making reservations, just as some of you mentioned. I think we'll love it based on all the reviews we've heard.

I loved this tour, and will be taking my two sisters, and 2 grandnephews on it in October/early November (depending on the F&W events)! So much fun for all...everyone should participate however, not just the kids...it makes it so much more fun! Learned a few facts about MK while on the tour!
Have a magical Family Magic Tour!
