We've been to MK several times. We are spending one day at MK in the hottest time of the year with large crowds likely. We don't have to do everything - nor do I think we will even get to do a lot of things due to these two things! :p My children are 12 and 9.

When I talked to CRO about our other PS's, the CM downplayed the Family Magic Tour, saying that it would probably not really be necessary for us due to the number of visits we have had - that we had probably done everything and that it wouldn't really be anything new (don't think this was meant as a negative toward the tour, I think she was trying to be helpful and save us the time and money).

So, what do you think?

We did the tour on May 17th with our 7 & 9 year old. We had been to MK 3 times already in the previous week so we were ready for a change. It was a very busy and hot Monday morning so we were happy to be playing around instead of waiting in long lines. The first hour and a bit of the tour was OK, learned a few new things, saw some hidden mickeys, the kids had great fun - but, the highlight of the tour was Peter Pan. The kids (& my husband) were very surprised! It was as if he had walked right off of the screen and into our lives, he WAS Peter Pan. His movie knowledge and disney knowledge were incredible. He made every child feel special and he took them to Philharmagic (holding hands with my daughter on the way!). It was well worth the money and a great opportunity to the see the MK in a different way. If your 12 year old likes to goof around you will do fine.
