Family Goes To Disney World

I'm Josh and I am 14 years old. I'm new here, but want to share my trip with everyone here.

Grandma and Grandpa

October 31st, 2009
Mom came into my room at 3:00am to get me up. We were going to be driving down to Orlando so we wanted a early start. Dad, Eric, Jason, and myself got all the bags in the cars while the rest of the family got everything else ready. Once we were all ready we split up into two cars. Dad, Mom, Kelly, Max, Kevin, and myself were in one van and Eric, Jess and Jason were in Eric's car. We all planned on meeting up for lunch somewhere.
The ride was pretty boring to start with. I slept most of the time and played games with Max and Kevin. We got board the the games after a while so I listened to some music. We met up with Eric, Jess, and Jason at Mcdonalds for lunch. Talked with them while Kelly, Max, and Kevin ran off energy. After lunch we all decided to switch up who was in what car again. In one car was Eric, Jason, Mom, Kelly and myself and the other was Dad, Jess, Max, and Kevin. We did the cars this way so that Mom could get Kelly to take a nap without Max and Kevin screaming. So we were off again. Mom got Kelly to sleep. So Eric, Jason, Mom, and myself talked about different things. Kelly woke up from her nap after a while and was not happy about being in the car for so long so she started to cry, Jason saved the day for us since before we left Mcdonalds we grabbed the dvd player and Barney dvd from the other car and put that on for her. We weren't going to make to to Orlando till the next day so we decided we were staying and my grandma and grandpa's house.
Got to my Grandma and Grandpa's house. My Unlce, Aunt, and cousins were already there. We all said hello's to each other then Dad ordered Pizza for us all. Ate dinner and then all the cousins went into the living room and talked and played. Jamie and I decided to go outside and play basketball. She is really good at basketball so it turned out to be a good game. Went back to the house and chilled with the family for a while. Mom tired to put Kelly to bed, but Kelly wasn't going to bed tonight. She usually is hard to put to bed anyway and tonight was no different. Finally mom just let her stay up since Dad, Eric, Jess, Jason, and I were watching a movie. She ended up falling asleep about 5 minutes after Mom left the room.

That's a huge cast you've got there! Wow! But I think it would be fun having that many siblings and family members on a trip. Can't wait to hear more about your trip.

Woke up around 7:00am, everyone else was starting to get up as well. Dad and Uncle Rick made us all breakfast. After breakfast we all got the cars ready and were on our way to Disney World. The ride to Disney World was pretty boring. I listened to music. Once in Disney We headed to Downtown Disney for lunch since we couldn't check in at the hotel yet and the younges kids were getting cranky and hungry. We all got different things for lunch, so don't ask where we went or what we had. After lunch Uncle Rick and his family wanted to go to Magic Kingdom, so they left and Grandma and Grandpa left us. My family decided to do some shopping since Kelly, Max, and Kevin were tired. So off we went shopping. Well only Mom, Dad, and Jess shopped. Eric and Jason went and walked around alone, while I watched Kevin, Max, and Kelly. We all met up with Eric and Jason after a while and decided to go to the hotel, since it was close to the time we could get to the rooms. We stayed at the Swan Hotel. Once at the hotel. Dad got the keys to the room and we headed up to the rooms. Mom, Dad, and Kelly were in one room. Jess, Max and Kevin were in one room. Eric, Jason, and I were in the last room. Mom wanted to put Kelly down for a nap since it had been a long day already, so while she did that Dad, Eric, Jason, Kevin, Max, and I decided to go to Magic Kingdom. Jess stayed back at the hotel with Mom and Kelly since Mom and Jess had dinner plans later that night.
Got the bus to Magic Kingdom and headed in the park. I didn't want to ride anything yet, so I split up with the rest of the group and walked around a little. I guess they rode rides, don't know what ones. Met up with my brothers and Dad after a while and we headed back to the hotel. We all went to Mom and Dad's room to talk about plans for the night. Jess and Mom were going with Grandma and Aunt Amanda to dinner. Grandpa wanted to take Kevin, Max, Jamie, and Heather to Downtown Disney. Uncle Rick and Dad were going out to eat. Jason, Steve, and Chris were going to Epcot for dinner, so Eric and I were going to look after Kelly. After everyone left we went and grabbed some dinner at the food court over in the Dolphin Hotel. After dinner Kelly started getting in one of her moods were she will only listen to one person, and if that person isn't there it could mean trouble. Tonight she wanted Jason. So off we went to Epcot to find Jason, Steve, and Chris. Jason, Steve, and Chris had just finished eating which was good luck for us. So she got her Jason. We all walked around Epcot for a while ran into Mom and Jess when we were there so they joined us for the night. Steve and Chris left to go back to the hotel since they had to go pick up Jamie and Heather from Grandpa. We all walked around a while longer and then called it a night and headed Back to the hotel.
