HI Tim! I hope Mel had a great Mother's Day!! I am sure you guys spoiled her!! I can't believe the girls pulled the sword out. I have never seen that happen!! We also love PUSH! It was so funny because on our trip in 07 we met him for the first time, and then in 09 we didnt see him and Myles talked about him the whole time... then this year we had to make a point to catch up with PUSH and he was awesome. I didn't realize that the voice was a guy in the crowd! I saw him this time and he had a little microphone and a bag, but none of the kids knew he was the one talking. PUSH said happy birthday to Myles and they danced. So cute

Sorry, MIA for awhile! But I'm back and all caught up - loved the last two updates. The girls look so beautiful as princesses!!! And Juliana is having such a great birthday.

Juliana was having a great day so far. I thought when planning that Victoria & Alex might of felt left out but I think they had a great day too!

Hey! I would not have answered unless it was ok with me. Thanks for all the information. I actually enjoy learning things about the world and people. I am often found watching documentary types shows about many different topics. No prying here! I really enjoyed learning a bit about MPO deficiency and maybe in the future if I talk to someone who is sick all the time I can suggest this! Thanks

Doctors are just really learning about MPO deficiency and there really isn't too much on the internet about it. Most people who have it never even know it. In most cases it is very mild.

Hey! I read update, and it was wonderful. Great pics of the girls! Such beautiful princesses. I love the BBB, such a nice magical experience for the girls. Sword & the Stone, WOW! I didn't even realize that it came out, really cool. Cosmic Ray Birthday Serenade! Wonderful and PUSH! is so much fun.

The girls really loved BBB- even if Juliana was yawning every 3 minutes! LOL

We really were on a magical roll. I mean in the matter of 3 hours so many wonderful things happened to us. It was a great day... so far...

Our Mother's Day was very low key. Mel was on call so we really didn't have anything planned.

I really was amazed when I saw the girls pull out the sword! Glad I had my camera out!

That is a great story! I'm glad Myles got some birthday wishes from PUSH! I always look for the guy controlling him. I think every time we've see PUSH it is the same guy controlling him- i think.

P.S. We had to let you guys get a win on Sunday...

Had a very busy weekend with work and I even ended up working yesterday too. I got a call this morning at 7:30 for work this afternoon but I didn't have a babysitter. Money down the drain. I do have to work for a few hours tonight though. When it rains it pours!! Just like the second part Juliana's birthday in the MK!

Remember way back when I said I wanted to have this TR done by May? This was the reason. I don't want it to stall out. I will have some free time this weekend when Mel & Juliana fly to Florida and leave me home alone. Maybe I could be done with this TR by next week! After I finish Thursday I only have 5 more days to go... 3 of those days are basically 1 post.


I'm sure you didn't see but yesterday Jetblue was offering $10 flights to anywhere they fly for today and tomorrow. I told Mel I booked myself on a flight this morning to Orlando, was going to hit the parks today and tomorrow, and then fly back tomorrow night. I'm not sure she thought it was funny.

That AP got me thinking crazy stuff!!!! Too bad I'm not going to have a chance to use it again.

That's so awful that Mel got sick on vacation; I'm glad the doctor gave her an antibiotic. You would never be able to tell from the pictures that she didn't feel well!

I had no idea the sword could actually move! I thought it was just a photo op!

Juliana's nurse just called and her scans are clear!!!!

We stopped to laugh at our pictures as we walked toward the exit of Buzz Lightyear. As we were figuring out our next move saw THE REAL BUZZ! We had to go over and take a picture with him. We were having such a great day so far and Juliana & Victoria were in such a great mood, they felt the need to hug.

The line was a little long to see Buzz but it was moving. Juliana & Victoria felt like dancing.

There were hugs all around.

It was finally our turn to see Buzz. Juliana was first.

After a few pictures, Buzz grabbed Juliana's hands and started dancing with her.

After Juliana's visit it was Alex's turn. Anyone remember when Alex was scared of the characters? Well, he just ran right up to Buzz and gave him the biggest hug.

When Victoria got to Buzz he danced with her too!

All 3 kids were happy to see Buzz and the wait was totally worth it!

We kept the strollers parked and rode the ramp up to the TTA. (weird exposure)

We didn't want to be squished so Juliana, Melody and I rode separately.

What a poser....LOL

While we were taking our ride around Tomorrowland it started raining. Thankfully, we weren't getting wet. When we went inside past Space Mountain, we could see that the lights were on and it wasn't running. It was neat to see the track with the lights on.

Fortunately, when we got off the TTA the rain had stopped again. The skies were looking very ominous. We wanted to make our way over to Toontown but Juliana had the Speedway in mind. We parked the strollers under the overhang next to the Speedway and got in line.

I always keep my backpack with me when we go on rides because I keep my camera and video camera in there. I also had a few ponchos in my bag. We were 1/2 way through the line when the skies opened up. Branda & Mel put on ponchos as fast as the could while Dave & I opened up a poncho and held it like a tarp over the kids. They thought it was fun hanging out under the 'tarp'. Mel wanted to get out of line but it was no use. There was so many people in front and behind us that we were stuck. The rain was pouring down and he wind was picking up too. Dave & I were getting soaked.

It rained hard for about 5 minutes then stopped right before we were able to walk past getting on the cars and get out of line. I tried to get Juliana out of the line but she wasn't leaving with out driving a race car. Mel went ahead to wait for us and I got on the cars with Ana. You should of seen the people getting out of the cars. It looked like they went swimming. Somehow Juliana & I made it through the whole 'race' without getting wet.

After our ride we 'fixed' our strollers to be waterproof. We wrapped them with the ponchos and headed towards Toontown. On the walk over here came the rain again... UGH. We hurried over to the Hall of Fame tent to get out of the rain, and to see the princesses.

Somehow the princess line was only 30 minutes. We could hear the rain outside. It was really coming down. We were getting closer and were let into the room with the princesses.

We were a little disappointed because Belle had to 'leave' and we were left with Cinderella and Aurora.

Now the princess really took their time with the girls and they had the cutest conversations. But the real treat was seeing Alex talking to them. I think Aurora was his favorite. She must of talked to him for what felt like 5 minutes and gave him the biggest kiss.

When Alex got to Cinderella, they got into a long conversation too. Cinderella wasn't about to be shown up by the kiss Aurora had left Alex, so she gave him a big kiss on his other cheek. He was loving the attention from real princesses.

Seeing Alex with the princesses was one of the best moments of the trip. They gave him so much attention.

After seeing the princesses, I asked a CM to check to see if Space Mountain was running- it was. The kids and the wives got into the fairies line while Dave and I went for a walk back to Tomorrowland to ride on Space Mountain. It was still raining but it wasn't too hard. By this point I was getting pretty wet.

We made it to SM and hopped into the FP line. I was wishing I was in the regular line. They had all the new cool games to play while they were waiting and we had nada. After the ride, I asked Dave what he thought of SM and he said it was OK. He liked the other coasters better (and I agree with him) I did feel like the track was less jerky this time (maybe it was my imagination though)

While we were gone....

We met back up with everyone and checked out Mickey's house. As we were walking through his garage, the sky's opened up again and we ran for cover in a little stand across the street. The rain was pouring and the wind was picking up. I was getting a little tired of trying to dodge these raindrops. Here is what we saw at 4:06pm.

We stood there for 10 minutes and had a decision to make. We had an ADR at 1900 Park Fare at 6. What was our next move? Would we have to stand under this stand for hours? How were we going to get these girls with their 'hair-dos' safely to the Grand Floridian?



Up next... More rain & maybe we could just paddle to the Grand Floridian?
