What is a must see and do while in Orlando area and FL in general?

We loved Crayola Experience at the FL Mall. We plan to go on the Orlando Eye this summer.

Outside Orlando, Kennedy Space Center is worth the trip. St. Augustine is a favorite of mine, very historical and beautiful. Near St. Augustine is Fernandina Beach, which is a really quaint beach town. If you're up for a drive from Orlando, South Beach and the Florida Keys are popular. I really enjoy John Pennekamp State Park in Key Largo-- from the welcome center, you take boats to explore beautiful coral reefs by snorkeling, scuba diving, or glass bottom boat. Billie Swamp Safari on the Miccosukee reservation is absolutely awesome for exploring the Everglades-- airboat rides, alligator wrestling. I advocate seeing the Everglades if you want to see Florida; they are unique and in danger.
