We are planning on going to Disney World the week of April 22, 2013. I have beem looking at hotels/condos etc that would meet our needs, but am getting overwhelmed. My husband and I will be travelling with our 4 kids (ages 7,5,2, and approx 3 months). We would prefer off-site since it seems to be cheaper. We will be driving, so shuttle buses are not important. If possible, a place that will be $100 a night or less would be ideal. Any recommendations?

would also include houses

www.vrbo.com

would do timeshares - you want close - pretty sure you would need a 2-bedroom
Wyndham Bonnet Creek - see the threads on it for who to rent from -there are several.

other timeshares in the area
Sheraton Vistana Resort
Silver Lake
Vacation Villas at Parkway
Cypress Pointe
Bryan's Spanish Cove
Gramd beach

if you don't mind being further away
Hilton Grand Vacation Club at SW or ID
Marriott's Cypress Harbour
Marriott's Grande Vista

We have heard good things about Bonnet Creek and will be staying there with our 3 kids in a month. We got a 2 bedroom for $89 a night from vacation strategy. It is in the Disney parks area and would sleep your family well.

Before any further discussion firslty tell me about your budget estimation.what are the basic requirements for staying there. And what food item would you like to have ....Because number of options food delivery restaurant..Please send me all the details so that i would be able to find some better hotels and condo for you..

You might want to check out the Bahama Bay Resort. It is a little off the beaten path (approx 15 min drive to WDW) but we stayed there last year and it was really nice for the money. Right now on their website they are offering a 3 BR condo for under $100/nt for the week you are planning. They also are offering a 2BR for around $80/nt. They also charge a $65 cleaning fee for the stay and a $5.95/nt resort fee. We used Bookit.com for our trip and was able to get our condo for less than they were offering on their website.

Good Luck

I don't have a lot of off site experience but several years ago we stayed at a Days Inn suite at Old Town. 2 beds, pull-out sofa, kitchen. Quite nice but we weren't impressed by the pool if that's important to you. Also, it was close enough to Disney we didn't have transportation problems. If you check the Orlando sites and discounts you can find some great deals. I think I paid $45 a night for the suite in May. Yes, it was several years ago but still...

For our next Disney trip we are looking into renting a condo or townhouse at Windsor Hills through vacationcentralflorida.com. I have read a lot of good reviews about this company and their rates are very reasonable. Windsor Hills is a gated vacation home community of privately owned condos and houses and is a very popular offsite option for families visiting WDW and other Orlando attractions; and I've read that it is a short drive to the parks too. Good luck with your planning :thumbsup2
