Family Favorite CS restaurants....

I know we've had various polls, but was wondering, overall, what are the best counter service restaurants for families (ie. different age ranges, different food likes) and WHY do you think they're good?

In DCA?

In DL?

In DtD/Hotels or offsite nearby?

In DCA I am really partial to White Water Snacks. It is actually part of the GCH hotel, but if you use the entrance by Grizzly and take a left you are right there. Because it is not as obvious as other places to eat, it is usually not super busy. They also have an assortment of snacks, drinks, and the hot meals are delicious, huge portions, and IMO not as expensive as some of the other dining options. You order and pay for anything pre-made, and then they will deliver the hot food to your table afterwards.

My favorite counter service in DL is French Market (love the French Dip) or Pizza Port (love the chicken fusilli).

Favorite counter in DCA is Bountiful Valley Farms (kids like the cheesesticks and chicken fingers, actual fingers, not nuggets!), Breadbowl Bakery and Mexican (the kids like the kids meal here)

In the hotels I agree with Dizzyami, WWS is awesome!! Great portions, great prices and great food!

Another vote for White Water Snacks, love the nachos. I posted a pic in the dinning review thead that is a sticky on top of the board.

I also like Taste Pilots in DCA mostly because of the condiment bar.

In DL, my favorite is French Market followed closely by Bengal BBQ. But I like all of them, except I always avoid Village Haus. I have yet to read of anyone having a good meal there.

For off site Mimi's, Tony Roma's, McDonalds, Denny's, IHOP are all right across the street on the other side of Harbor.
