Family drop off at parks

Can my family drop us off at a theme park without paying for parking, similar to Uber/Lyft? I know those cars have documentation on them. This would just be local family taking us into the parks for the day and dropping us off. We are meeting back at Disney Springs for dinner that evening.

I think that would be fine. It's like an Uber/Lyft but free. They'll have to go in the rideshare drop-off lane.

it's been a while since I have dropped off or pickup at WDW (2018) but all I did at the entrance to parking was say I am dropping off or picking up . and I was told ok to proceed and follow the painted line . I forget what the color of the painted line they said (maybe blue?)

If you don’t need a car seat I’d rideshare to save your fam from having to deal with that traffic…
