Family boat rental - where can you go?

Where can you go with the family boat plan? Are you allowed to "dock" it and return later? If so, for how long?

No, I don't think so. I thought when ever we had the boats you could only dock where you had taken the boat from.

If you rent from a mk resort you are allowed on seven seas lagoon and bay lake. if rented from epcot resorts on there lake and over towards mgm but not into epcot. And downtown disney resorts may go over through the channels to the big lake at down town disney.

However you could not dock, unless they changed it. You can dock at your home port returning the boat and take out another.
