:lmao: Okay... now that I have your attention... Is this possible?!! It seems like with 3 kids that it would be best to be at rope drop and take a break after lunch, but then we would miss the parades. On our last trip (also our first), the only parade we saw was in the MK. I wanted to make sure on our next trip that we saw the parades at MGM and AK. It just doesn't seem really convenient though to drag out our day and stay for the parade and then take a break and come back for a meal or night show. We might just have to skip the parades again... any help out there??

TIA!

I don't have any help becaus that is just what we are going. We are going to be at the rope drops...then leave midday...and come back at night. We have allowed 2 days at MK so we can just stay throught the 3pm parade one of the days and stop early...and the other be there a rope drop...take a break and come back for spectro and wishes. MGM...well...we are missing that parade. With AK though..maybe you would be ok staying throught the afternoon parade and not coming back. AK does usually close pretty early so it might work for that park.

I think it depends on two things:

a) The number of days you'll be there. If you're going for a few days, then alternate: do an early morning one day stay for the parade, and have the evening back at the resort. Then the next day hang out at the pool till noon and do a later evening.

b) Where are you staying? The main reason we're busting the budget for the Contemporary is so that we can get back to the resort after lunch for naps/swims. If we keep an eye on the clock, we should manage some of the parades.

We go often just for the day and do some weekends as well. What we do is get there for opening, we can usually do just about everything we want before the parade, so we will start heading out and catch the parade at the very end near the entrance/exit. This makes for a quick get away and there are never alot of people watching there so you don't need to get there early to save a spot.

This strategy keeps DD on her schedule and happy. Your youngest may nap in the stroller...DD did at that age. We never go back at night, she is in bed at home by 8 and has a hard time even if she wants to stay up. We're saving the nighttime stuff for when she gets older.
