Fallon Opening April 6th

Jimmy Fallon just announced on his show that it's opening Thursday, April 6th. They'll be doing their shows from there that week.

Fallon will be taping the tonight Show at Universal from April 3-6th too.

A big difference with this ride is the first big test of the virtual queuing system they are using for Volcano Bay. They only use it now for Pteranodon Flyers in IOA (where they've been working out kinks there), this will be a much bigger test of that. With some people I know all that means is the "queue" will shift to the Finnegan's bar until the time is called. "Short term" fastpass for a return time. Express probably just gets sooner return times.

Any idea what this ride is all about? I haven't really seen much about it.

We are there the week of the taping! I'm wondering how it will work for getting tickets cause I would love to go!

Based on past openings like Kong, what's the likelihood of soft openings prior to April 6th? I don't recall how it went for Skull Island, so maybe someone can refresh my memory on that. Is it generally open like normal during a soft open or is it sporadic and you need to keep checking? We'll be there 3/30-4/2, and then leaving for a cruise on 4/2, so I'm bummed we'll be missing this and the Tonight Show!

They haven't released that info yet, but based on the last time Fallon taped at Universal (When Diagon Alley opened) they released them through the usual Tonight show ticketing website http://tonightshowtix.com , and they all went within a few minutes. They may do something special for Orlando, but it would probably be announced on https://twitter.com/FallonTix

Hmmmm...we are there the 5th, 6th, & 7th. Wonder how this will affect crowds. Excited this is opening while we are there! Wish we could score tix to a Tonight Show taping. Even if we did, we couldn't go as we have 2 teens with us and I see the age requirement is 16+. Boo, lol.

We will be there on the 4th and 5th of April. I wonder if there will be soft openings. I hope the crowds aren't terrible because of it.
