Fall YC Scents

Just had to share that I was at the mall today and wandered into the YC Store. The new fall scents are out and are amazing!!!

Can't wait for the exchange.

Here are the new scents:
Almond Cookie.....rich almonds and buttery vanilla baked in an irresistibly luscious treat.
Autumn Fruit.....lively blackberries with sweet grapes and juicy pears.
Be Thankful.....inviting aromas of a Thanksgiving kitchen (not sure what that means)
Farmer's Market.....sweet berries, juicy apples, succulent peaches and warm spices.
Lakeside Birch.....an autumn day is reflected in clean birch and cool water
Macintosh Spice.....slightly tart apple slices sprinkled with freshly ground cinnamon
Moonlight Harvest.....Hints of pumpkin and spice
Vanilla Pumpkin.....Nutmeg-spiced pumpkin bread with a twist ... fresh vanilla, bits of orange and maple syrup

They have new lip balm too. The tube looks like little candle jars. Comes in black cherry, buttercream, sweet strawberry, vanilla cupcake, vanilla lime

The "Be Thankful" may be all the smells of Thanksgiving day.

Turkey roasting, pies baking (not all people bake ahead of time) and other such food smells.



If only the candles smelled as good as the names and descriptions they give.

I'd swear the "be thankful" is the last couple of years "fall harvest" which is one of my favorites. They smell identical and no "fall harvest" to be found at the store I was at.

Not sure I want to smell turkey and pie all mixed together. At least not in a candle.
I won't be to a store to do the sniff test until Sept. 5 Hmmm...unless we go to a mall while I am in AZ. That could happen.
There are several that appeal to me.

I have to agree with Trish!! The Fall Yankee Candles are amazing!! I stood in the store opening all the jars because I just had to smell them!! It was heaven!! The candle accessories are really nice too!! Fall and Christmas are my favorite scents of all at YC!! My DH better keep me out of there or I'll come home with half the store!!

Ooh they do? I used to work at a candle factory and they never smelled that good. (Had to quit because all the smells would make me sick) Maybe I could get some light scents.

Sounds like a trip to the mall is in order, while in AZ.

There are several that appeal to me.

Farmer's Market and Macintosh Spice sound great, and John loves a good apple scent.

We just got a new YC store in the mall near me--I may have to go check those out. And I just may do that exchange......

All the apple scents are very nice.
I like Farmhouse Apple. It is a bit spicy too.
And Granny Smith....which I think they brought back for a limited time.
I like pumpkin scents, but not so sure about the maple part of the Vanilla Pumpkin.
I think I want to try FArmer's Market and Moonlight Harvest. Spiced Pumpkin is one of my all time favs. I am anxious to see how it compares.
I will get to one, Heidi. Here or there......and there is that coupon.
I will post it when I get on the other computer. I have it bookmarked there for the YC exchange

Votive's would be good for me, seeing its small enough that if I don't like it I can just throw it away. But I don't have a votive holder either.
