Fall trip questions

Hi Aulani fans,

I’m making our dinner reservations currently for our fall trip. So far, we have Longhi’s (we loved it on our last trip), Monkeypod (for our arrival night) and the Luau booked. I have 2 more nights available and I’m considering Noe.

We’ll have lunch most days onsite so I’d prefer leaving the hotel for dinner. I have a severe shellfish allergy so any restaurant that is primarily seafood is out (like Mina’s). I’d love any feedback about Noe or any other recommendations in Ko Olina.

I’m also wondering if anyone has any photos or reviews specifically for Poolside Garden View Studio Rooms. We had a poolside garden view on our last trip but in a regular hotel room. This will be our first time on the DVC side. I’m hoping for ground floor as that was just perfect for us last time.

Thanks in advance!

I’ll skip making food recs as we find Longhi’s and Monkeypod just so so, but the small ABC store across the street has decent options. You’ll obviously avoid the Poke bowls, but they have chicken teriyaki bowls, ramen options, sandwiches, etc.

As far as a studio on the ground floor, 184 will be crazy convenient to the pools, beach, and Off the Hook. We were in the 1 bedroom next door (182) last month and enjoyed it for the most part. It was definitely a trek to our rental car but not too huge a deal. We’ve also enjoyed the third floor!

My phone isn’t currently letting me add pics so I’ll try to edit to add them later 😎

Thank you for the room number recommendation! I’m going to try to find it on the hotel map and hopefully request it. We were just steps away from Ulu cafe last time which was so convenient for a quick breakfast in the morning.

I agree that Monkeypod is just meh. We had a nice meal at Longhi’s. I had a chicken dish (maybe piccata, can’t recall) that was good.

We went to the ABC store for a few things last time but didn’t try the hot food. I was too worried about cross contamination there or fish sauce used in the sauces. That’s always a risk with ramen or teriyaki sadly. Might try one of the sandwiches, though.

Thanks again for responding.
