Wow -- so many packages and such great stuff. This is a great swap idea!

Can't wait 'til mine arrives -- I'm on pins and needles -- hope my SS takes pity on me soon.

• What type of uniform does your daughter wear for Brownies: sash or vest? pants or skirt? color? type of top?

• What color hair does your DD have? Does she wear it short? long? bobbed?

I am still playing with my new stuff! I had it spread across my desk for several days! and yes all the Butterfingers are nearly gone....

DD wears a sash with the skort and she has a Brownie t-shirt she wears with it. The skort and sash are brown and the t-shirt is white with Brownie girls across the front. She has brownish blonde hair that is shoulder length but she always wears a pony tail. She's athletic so she can't stand it getting in her way. This is definitely peaking my curiosity!

SO, SO SORRY! I was just so confused. I thought for sure I had lost my mind. I was asking DH did I put that in the box? Or how about that?
That just blew my mind!

I received not one, but two packages from my SS today!!

The first was a birthday package, containing a homemade card and a beautiful exploding box, both done in shades of blue, white and black. I love it!!

The second was my “holiday” package containing:
A Halloween dish
Halloween “Cut-offs” journaling box and accent
2 kinds of Halloween stickers
Football stickers
“Autumn” title block
Candy corn brads (too cute!)
Orange fiber
Christmas Dress it Up buttons
Gingerbread man ribbon

Basic Grey wood art phrases – I’ve never seen those before and they’re great!
2 kinds of tea, which smell great and I can’t wait to try
And a Halloween goodie bag full of Twix, some of which are already gone.

today just might be my day to get my surprise package!

Lots of neat things have exchanged hands - as I think of that I remember "one for my ss, one for me" - so guess that means lots of neat things for all us

My youngest DD received her SS package yesterday: Items for Christmas, Halloween and Valentines day with a few homemade items as well. Also a Tinkerbell notepad and some candy! I think that was all - my mind in still in a "Disney World" fog. Thanks to her SS.

When I got my SS package, I realized I had a problem. I forgot that I would have to post what I received, as this is my first SS thing ever. Anyway, as you will see in my next post. I have 2 SS. Yours is probably the box I received yesterday. I'll post the contents in a separate post.

The reason I have 2 is that someone extra was needed at the last minute. After several messages back and forth with a hostess and a little juggling, I took on a second SS. This is not to say that I know who my secret sisters are or that they should have any clue that I am theirs.

At first, my husband said, couldn't I just send some of the stuff I have purchased for myself. I said generally, NO, these are personalized swaps for each person that all of us are doing. When I got my second package yesterday, he said he didn't care about any expense because they made me happy! What a guy!

I have also truly enjoyed the shopping. I love the process of 1 for SS, 1 for me, although I have been pretty good about not doing it too much.
