Fall Promotion to be released...

So, I have to ask what you think "fall" means? And I know we are speculating - but do u think November? We are wanting FD for anytime in November. Last 2 years have celebrated hubs birthday in November, this year DS and DDIL want to be with us. Ohhhh the excitement of waiting for the right timing!

I'm kind of hoping that it's FD, for dates starting in late August, then I'll be happy with the code I have for July, since I can't go in late August. lol.

If it's FD for early August, then I don't know what I'd do.

As far as I know, the only FD offer over the summer right now is for the quick service dining plan. The standard FD offer is typically offered mid to late August through September to accommodate value season.

I think fall (after 10/01) room / package deals will not be announced until July.

I'm always so thankful for a big bladder on the mornings these codes are released. It's so funny reading through the post about people being on hold for soooooo long and they have to go to the bathroom...etc. Although I'm sure it wouldn't be the first time a Disney CM had heard 'running water' in the background LOL

that's what I typically thought the range of dates are for free dining. I want to book my airfare for July, but I want to see first if Disney does the free dining in August. It seems that they are offering pretty good discounts for July, so I'm assuming that they will offer free dining.

Yeah, it doesn't REALLY mean Fall - it means late summer to very late summer to VERY early fall.

That's what I think we'll see too, perhaps even a 9/8 start date. The room only discounts that they are currently offering on deluxe are so much better than I've ever seen for summer, they must need more bookings.

Here is hoping I did this right....apparently several TA have already told the clients that they are going to be very busy this weekend. This board is saying DV comes out on Sunday and GP a few days later. I hope this url works! And here is hoping that its true!!

Sorry for the second post but just wanted to add a glimmer of hope...

When I talked to the CM to book my trip, she said to make sure I book my ADRs this weekend because dining is very popular in September. That's so weird since September is a Value Season/Low Attendance month (wink wink).

I called today to change my June trip to August, in hopes of free dining (it's actually better for us to go in August anyway). I had booked my June trip with a PIN I received via email. The CM told me that she would go ahead and cancel the June trip, book the August trip with the PIN and add dining. I asked her thoughts on free dining, of course she said they do not know anything yet. But then the conversation continued with her saying that when the FD is released, I should just call and change my ressie to a free dining ressie. She kept saying when, not if.

I did try to confirm that when I switch the ressie to FD, I would loose the PIN discount (room discount) and she said that no I wouldn't, they would just take the cost of the dinning off the reservation. I'm pretty sure this isn't correct, but I didn't feel like debating it with her! Would be nice though....

If you choose to do FD, you have to do a package and pay rack rate. It won't stack with other pins/discounts.
