Fall FD hope (past 9/25) PIN just recieved!

yay Pete! I'm so glad you got to use your pin.

We were already booked for the week after Thanksgiving and were going to go regardless of FD or night but when I received the email it made everything even better!!

I'm so happy for those of you who received the PIN but I have to say it really bugs me that Disney sends these out so randomly. I've been there more than a few times yet I've never once received one of these mysterious discount PINS. I'm DYING for FD for my Oct trip and while I don't feel it's "owed to me" as some have said on these boards, I just don't get why they don't send these kinds of PINS to all past guests. Disappointing

Well, I know the feeling, as I said in PP - I've been getting PINs for years in a friends name, and could never use them. (They changed their policy for that.)

But, just to encourage you a bit, I've been watching free dining for 7 years now. The fact that they are sending out a PIN with free dining is a STRONG indication that they will eventually have a public FD offer. There has really only be once in my memory where they had free dining as a PIN without eventually putting it out GP, and that time they DID open it up for Disney Visa Holders - but not GP. (Which is part of why I was never THAT upset about not being able to use the PINs.) It doesn't help you much today having to wait another 3 months in hopes of a GP offer, but that's the best I can offer.
