I'm determined to get into the fall advantage cp for 2013. Does anyone have any advice on interviews and the application?
Thanks in advance

The more energetic and exciting you can be, the better. That's what they're looking for- people to train in the Disney way to be top-of-the-line Cast Members. Smile when you talk (people can hear it), laugh, joke around, have a good time, but ultimately don't forget that you need to be someone who can get work done and is serious about things when the time comes.

Thanks so much that sounds like really good advice, how hard is it to get a role you ask for? I really want to be a fgit at the Bbb in mk

The BBB is an EXTREMELY competitive position. The most competitive, I think. They only take the very best. My friend got BBB her second time around and is a FGIT right now, and she says there are only 10 girls total who are FGITs on the CP. Out of the thousands that applied, only 10 got accepted.

Other roles, however, may be easier. If you ask for Attractions it's a lot easier, than say, Front Desk, which is more competitive. Attractions has a lot more spots.

That makes sense, I'm guessing character attendant is pretty competitive also?

Entertainment is generally pretty popular and Character attendant can be pretty competitive, although nowhere near as competitive as Character Performer or BBB. So it's a good shot.

Don't get discouraged about BBB. There are two boutiques and each one usually has 10-15 CPs per program. You just have to show that it's perfect for you. I literally told my recruiter that I thought I was perfect for that role. I also told her about my hair and make up experience and that I worked with kids when I worked at Build a Bear. Hair experience is not crucial. The styles are taught to you in five days and aren't that difficult. Let me know if you have any questions. I did fall 2010 at DTD's BBB and now I work at MK's BBB.

(slightly unrelated): Say hi to E.B. (initials) for me, she was one of my best friends on my CP and she's back as a CP at the MK BBB!

I'm going to do fall adv next year maybe if I can't do a PI! I can't wait to go back!!!!!!

Thank you so much for the reassurance I'm positive it's perfect for me! I work in an amusement park now as a trainer and I got my start in kiddie land so I have a lot of experience with kids and I get more everyday
