I think many new cruisers actually prefer the wish class because it is very in your face Disney (not my fav but many love it).
It seems to me that if it’s the first ship you sail on most people seem to prefer that class. New cruisers, who tried the Wish and loved it, also love the Treasure.
I also think that the average family going to a vacation in Orlando is not going to venture down to Port of the Everglades to take a 3/4 night cruise. (I fully predict that they are going to need to offer substantial discounts to fill the Dream in Jan & Feb).
Right now, the Wish is priced a little high, but so is everything from DCL and as of current sailings, it is the 2nd newest ship and sailing out of PC and those always fetch a premium.
The Magic at almost half the capacity (2,500 vs 4,000) also had a ton of summer restricted GT rates as well. I think Disney expanded very aggressively as have other cruise lines and they all might have bitten off more than they can chew.
