Did anyone else see this new reality series? The premise is to take someone from one profession and give them 4 weeks to learn a new one enough to be able to "fake it" when tested. The one I'm watching right now is on a Boston construction worker trying to become an interior designer.

it was just too dumb, They guy was totally out of his element, and I don't think the "designers" were helping him feel comfortable, at all. It was like they exoected him to have the "designer" personality and fit right it. I thought they were pretty condesending toward his TV in every room and 2 bars in one. Maybe they next victim, um show, will be better.

Well I kind of liked it, since he turned it around and pulled it off in the end. Genieve from Trading Spacing was one of the judges.

Iwould never have turned it on!! I think these "reality" shows are stupid and very "unreal"!

It was on after something else DH was watching. Another home rearranging a room as a surprise show. I sit in the same room and read, he turns the c*** on! Once in a while those shows catch his eye, being in the home improvement industry. I will say there was one redeeming point on this show...........the carpenter had a very nice Boston accent, and he knew from the start that he would never fit in with the "designers". Tee hee, we call them "Dolly Decorators" when we have to deal with them, either in the store DH works in or when they interface with work he is doing for our company.

I doubt this show would ever get back on in my house!

Speaking of, how is yours coming? Maybe some pictures on the riddle next week?

I kind of liked it..... but then I'm a fan of Trading Spaces and While you were out, so what do I know?? :p

I think I was on the same lines as JTB! But for the record No I don't

I kinda enjoyed it, though I don't know if I would enjoy next weeks -- just as well, since I'll be out of town anyway. :teeth:

I also enjoy Trading Spaces occasionally -- not a fan of the show, but do enjoy watching it now and again. Never have caught While You Were Out.
