Faked out at the NYC Disney store

Ever since the 5th ave NYC Disney Store started with the 100 years of dreams pins they have been sold on the third floor (I believe it's the gallery section of the store) Well today a new wrinkle was put in my pin plans. I get there before the store opens I believe I have good line placement the store opens a good chunk of the line (me included) head up to the third floor to get pins only to be turned back because the pins are now being sold on the first floor . So now I make my way back downstairs wait on the bigger line and watch 5 of the pins sell out while on line . I got the pins they had left and I was happy with what I had gotten. There was some good news I got a free mini snowglobe with my purchase. Don't get me wrong I'm not angry about this weeks pin adventure, I just wish they gave us a heads up to where the pins are going to be sold that day.

The 5th Avenue Store is the Flagship Store. I do believe it is the biggest one.

Larry! Be grateful you didn't travel to 42nd st!
They NEVER received this weeks pins.. so many spent good travel
time to get there only to read a sign in the window!
Back to the Subway!
Then Lincoln Centre put out NEXT weeks pins instead of this week!
And yet other stores were shorted the Chip & Dale!

Notice all this nonsense when the Pins are Extra attractive?
Why didn't they short Titans or Shaggy? (Yuk!)

Anyhow, everyday is an adventure... how many more Saturdays?
Maybe it will stay mild weathered for us poor fools leaving the warmth
of our beds to stand shivering in the cold to have a great spot on line!

As official "pin person" I usually put out the pins each Friday night. I usually check the storage bin carefully to make sure I am putting out the lowest numbered week and that every style gets put out correctly. This week it was easy, or so I thought as there were only one weeks worth of pins in the box. Unfortunately it was week number 10 and not 9 that was in the box. I have lost count as to what week it was and was totally clueless. We never received week 9. This is also what happened at 42nd st although they caught it before the pins were put out and sold.

I'll try to keep everyone posted as to what will happen at 66th St. next week. We have a call in to home base to see what pins are coming and if we get this weeks pins we will probably sell them next week.
