Fake fastpassers

Yeah I think people who make a scene knwo exactly what they are doing, example taken from the above post about the family who didnt get it and was well taken, well if i misunderstood it and tried it i sure wouldnt make a scene id be embarrased as heck that i tried to look like a cheater and would retreat quietly, now what i do and will make a scene about is when they have 2 lines open for things, particualrly at the CS places and I KNOW i can use both and the people inthe one line 17 people long give me a nasty look cuz im next, too bad, you should have known or asked!!,,, and you all know what im talking about im sure...i am very aware of any way to make my lines shorter but have never tried to cheat the fastpass system, the one thing that i did learn taht is pretty kool and altho i dont do it all the time its ice everyonce in a while is that you can come back after your fastpass expires and still get in fastpass lane, no problems at all, we did this on soarin last week...

Those fast-pass sneaks chafe my rear. On our last visit to MK it was really crowded, so to save time I held a space in line at Splash Mountain for my husband and teenaged kids while they each went off in different directions to collect fast-passes for the other good rides. Well, there were so many people trying to crash the fast-pass lines once we got in them, we just gave up and decided to leave the park for a swim. Even that was a chore. The line for the monorail was outrageous, but we were lucky enough to be tagging along behind a couple who were using a wheelchair, so when they were waved up we just eased in behind them. BTW, I highly recommend the GF's swimming pool. We stopped in there on our way back. My wife didn't have a bathing suit so she just had a cocktail by the pool bar, but I was wearing shorts, and nothing makes the long hot trip back to the parking lot easier than a quick detour for a swim.

I would also add be careful of jumping to conclusions.

Thanks to all of those guests in the FP who jeered and booed at me when Buzz shut down earlier this year. I am very claustrophic and was having difficulty breathing - a very kind and observant CM saw my distress, grabbed me by the hand and tried to clear a path to get me out into the fresh air.

Obviously many in the line thought that I was cutting into the FP line..... I did actually have a FP but only that CM tried to help, even when I asked the people behind me to step to the side so that I could leave...

The OPs post was pretty clear that those were FP queue jumpers, but that may not always be the case.

I think what would have been the icing on the cake is if several people had done a David Spade impersonation, while they were being escorted to the back of the line, when he was on SNL doing the plane skit, "Buh Bye Now, Buh Bye.

I don't think it would be hard to get on a ride via a fake FP (or a FP from a different day or even a different ride).

At MGM later on a very hot day, the CM wasn't even looking at the slips of paper being handed to her.

That's why there are TWO FP CM's. The one outside LOOKS at the FP and checks the times, etc. The one next to the loading of the attraction just makes sure there are enough passes for each guest.

Its a pretty good system.

I think that they can tell what ride it is. You can use them later in the day they were given out, but not on a later day entirely. I have only heard of one case in which people were turned away after their alloted tiem window. In another thread, they were going on about how you shouldn't bank upon using a fastpass later in the day. In our experience, we have always been able to. CMs even reccomend it. The CM on the Epcot boat even suggested the best rides to do this with.
Using a FP froma different ride or different day is wrong though. When Soarin' runs out, people shouldn't be allowed to use Maelstrom FPs!

IF they check them. I'm saying they don't always check them. I saw it with my own eyes. I saw them not check my own Fastpasses (which were valid FPs for that ride for that day).

I'm glad they're catching people at WDW (not innocent mistake people). Last year, my first time at Disneyland, on the day of the opening of the Jack-Skellington-decorated Haunted Mansion, the CM taking the tickets before entering the stretch room was NOT taking the tickets (new?). There were hundreds of people in line and once a bunch of teenagers caught on to that fact, groups of 20-30 teenagers began going beneath the ropes into the FastPass line (at a point past the original FastPass CM). I would say at least 150-200 people did this within 5-10 minutes. It was extremely frustrating, especially when families with little kids began doing this (presumably from frustration in watching the 100 teenagers pass them, but ). FINALLY, the CM realized that 150 or so people wouldn't have returned for FastPass all at one time!!

Gosh, it would be incredibly frustrating if this became a problem at WDW

I noticed over Labor Day Weekend that CMs seemed a lot more strick with every line - including the Monorail at MKT&T which I was happy about.

I don't get the reason for being strict at the Monorail??? I am a passholder so having the pass was not the issue, I just felt it as a waist of time.. just one more line they make you wait on.
ie: You are staying onsite, have no car. Going to Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Did not bring your pass with you (left it in room)... you would not have gotten on the monorail.. how else would you have gotten there besides walking form TTC to Poly & jumping on monorail there... or boat..

Like I said, I just thought that was more of an inconvience than anything....

But if a person said they were going to Chef Mickey's, they should be allowed to board the Resort Monrail at any time.

Let me tell you I WOULD be getting on!
But I've never encountered any problems like that, ever.

Your example could not normally happen, at TTC anyway.
If you were a resort guest at, say, Coronado Springs and did not have a car, you'd be bused to MK front gate in order to get to Chef Mickey's.
Then you could walk from there directly to CR, or walk to the Resort Monorail station in front of MK and board it for CR there.
And, as I said, I WOULD be getting on whether the CM was "happy" about it or not.
