There is one platter with meats (chicken, steak & chorizo) and one with fish (shrimp, scallops and mahi mahi I think). We had both. I preferred the fish one; the grilled shrimp were very large. The meat one was good too but the chicken has a very sweet bbq sauce on it and the steak was a bit tough, although it is the same steak they are serving all over Disney.
They serve a bowl of rice and a bowl of black beans with it. On the platter, they include peppers, onions, and corn with some type of sauce. It was all very good. They give you a few small tortillas but you can request more. I preferred eating it plain with a few tortilla chips.
The only problem I had with La Hacienda was that our meal (2 platters) was brought out immediately after our appetizer (queso dip). I would say within 60seconds. Then, as I was finishing my meal, the server (Stanley) asked if I wanted dessert. I said, "I am still eating" and I think he got the picture and waited a bit.
Overall the pace of service seems fast here so tell them you are not in a hurry as soon as you sit down.
