Fairytale Scrapbook

Do you mind telling me how expensive it is? Thanks!:thumbsup2

I'd like to know that answer myself although I daresay I feel as though I hafta have it!

I had been planning on making small crapbooks that sit at each table with some of our replica momentos such as DF's plane ticket when we first met, some of our movie stubs, and even some pictures and notes. I just want to make things for the wedding and scrapbook is the way I'm going.

I used to scrapbook for fun spending a weekend here or there stocking up and creating pages . . . that lasted for three or so months and then it got too expensive and I was too busy.

Thank you so much for sharing. (I used to work at Michaels too :thumbsup2 ).

It was actually cheap, or at least I thought so. I bought the album for $14.99 and the paper stack for $19.99. There was an 8x8 album too and that was $9.99 I believe, or $12.99 one of the two. I am going to see if I can hunt it down online somewhere. Hopefully I'll find it!

Hi Jenny! I used to scrapbook all the time too, then I got into rubber stamping and making cards, now I have no idea where to start when it comes to scrapbooking. YIKES!

HI! OK, I found an online place that has it and ships internationally. The price is $27.99 there though :scared1: It's www.thelittlecraftcart.com I would send you one but I have no idea how to mail things overseas and such. :sad2:

They also have lots of other Disney scrapbooking supplies

Thanks for the link - I'll take a look. You think $27.99 is expensive? In the UK, I would expect that to be a minimum of $37!!!! We have to pay a premium price here, as it costs more to importing the items into the country.
The only problem buying in the US would be shipping - probably $20 to get the album here as it's not a light thing:sad2:

I think I might just wait a few weeks and see if the UK stores get it - and how much it would cost:eek:

dee- i did the shipping calculator and it would only be $12 by surface mail i think it was on the website!

I guess I thought that $27.99 was expensive because it was only $14.99 here but I always forget about the money difference and stuff.

thanks, but surface is usually 6-8 weeks I think, so hopefully by then they will have arrived in the UK. I'm still tempted tho'!!!!:guilty:

I'm on a Uk scrappers board and you should see the shopping lists those girls take to Florida with them, both for the excellents price and also the selection you guys have.

I never thought of that either! I just found the scrapping boards the other day. I never knew it was there.

I know that this album doesn't look like a wedding album but I thought it fit the DFTW theme. When we get the ribbon and all in I'll have to post those too.

Not to "squash" Michael's because I do love that store, but I got this album in the 8x8 version on Joanne.com for $7.49 today. They have the 12x12 version too, for I think $10.99 but I could be wrong on that. I got the matching 8x8 paper pad for $10.49 and the matching 4 & 1/2 x 6 & 1/2 paper pad for $5.99. I think the sale is through March 7th? I had a coupon code for free shipping so I added on some of their Cinderella Wedding embellishments. I can't wait to get started on it!

I'm going to make a more formal scrapbook of our wedding in a black leather Creative Memories album that I won years ago, but I wanted to make something a little more Disney too and this works perfectly! And it's only been 17 months since the wedding :rotfl: I do really need to get the scrapbook made this year . . .

I always forget about Joann's because I work at Michaels and there isn't a Joann's around me. (I never think of the website) I get an employee discount and Michaels takes competitors coupons as well but even with those I think Joann's is a better deal!

I have the same black leather album from CM too! I have pictures from my grandmother's childhood in it. The black pages look really good with the old pictures from the 1920's.

I felt bad posting, because you work for Michael's, but the Joann's deal was so good! I'm lucky to have both stores close to my house and a traditional scrapbooking store too.

I actually won 2 CM black leather albums years ago at a Croptoberfest event, but mine have white pages, which is unusual. I sold one on e-bay at Christmas time because I realized I'm never going to use both of them. I haven't even made our wedding album yet  but I got a nameplate made up to put on it when I do. DH really isn't interested in my scrapbooking obsession (although he did give me a whole room in our house for it - no wonder I love him!) but he does ask when the wedding album will get done. I made one for his mom for Christmas 2005 but I just haven't done ours yet. Hopefully this will give me a kick-start - do the Disney one, then do the formal one!

No need to feel bad about the Joann's thing! There is one Joann's in my area but it isn't a very good one. I hear there is a Superstore about 45 minutes south of me, I just haven't gotten there yet.

A friend of mine used to be a CM consultant so I used her discount and got a ton of albums. I must have 7 that are still in the plastic. I am trying to do an album now of my nephew and I'm stuck. No ideas are coming to me.

I helped my sister in law make an album of her wedding, a fun one with the pictures from the table cameras. She was suppose to put her proofs in a book too but I don't think she ever got around to it. I thought the Once Upon a Time album would be nice to be the one I bring to work and such.

Omg I love that album! I hope it's still there when I go this weekend to look for it:)
