Fairytale package for non disney club?

Hi:

I hope this has not been asked. Are they going to offer some sort of special for non disney club people. My membership ended in the summer of 2002. I had thought disneyclub was ending and we did not have another trip planned so I did not renew.

I called down to the disneyclub they advised me that they were not taking any new memberships.

I've heard that the FT package would be offered on May 11th to non-DC members. Hopefully there will still be packages left for non-members to take advantage of. Good luck

There is also a rumor that it will be open to the public tomorrow (May 8th) so be sure to try tomorrow morning (I called at 7 am ). Good Luck!

I spoke with CM today to get DC quote. She told me that there were press releases yesterday, so that they were already getting a lot of calls. She said that it opens to the public tomorrow, May 8th.

I wanted to add that I got a better deal through Dreams Unlimited than when I called directly. I don't know why--I was pretty careful to compare apples to apples--but I'm happy with the result.

We're going to Disneyworld!

Heart- if you don't mind sharing the details.... I would love to know what Disney quoted you with the DC, and what Dreamsunlimited quoted you? Days, hotel and number of guests? I am on such a tight budget- I shouldn't even be thinking of a vacation, but I really, really need a vacation! Thanks in advance.

Yes, tomorrow should be the day.

I notice you are from Canada.

If they tell you it is not for Canadian residents hang up and call back.

I guess a lot of people had trouble because they were being told it was not for Can. residents but that is not true.

I would definately call at 7 because there will probably be a lot more people calling tomorrow. A lot of CM's seem clueless about the package.

Make sure they quote you the price without insurance unless you want the insurance.

Double check your ressie. I called today to do that and they had my MIL in the wrong lodge-Wl instead of AKL.

If your first CM doesn't seem to know what is going on just be patient you can always politely end the call and call back, even though you may be on hold for a while.

I found it helpful to have the mousesavers website open while I was booking because there is a detailed explanation of the package, codes, etc.
