Fairygodmailer at DL?

Ok so I have been looking around and I found out about the Fairygodmailer.. but all I seen had to do with the ppl that were going to WDW.. Does this apply to DL as well? I know my DD would flip to get a post card from Mickey before we go... so I was just woundering... I dont go till January.. but I would be more than happy to return the favor! also just wondering if anyone else has done this and what was the reaction of their kids??

I also looked at the WDW thread and figured it didn't apply to DL. Hopefully others traveling to DL are looking for the same and this thread will continue. I'm more than happy to take care of this for you since we'll be in the park mid December - please email me your info. By the way.... If someone is traveling towards the end of November I'd love for my son to get a postcard!

I recieved one once and the lady even wrote the cards so they looked like Mickey wrote them! My sons were thrilled ..........even the older one , he could not figure out how that happened, he had been extemely ill for over a month and he got a get well wish, it was great!

I'll be happy to mail out a couple of post cards. PM me with your address, and your child's name. If you want the post card to say something specific, let me know and I'll write that. Also, you can tell me a favorite character, or attraction and I'll do my best in that department.

I am in the parks pretty much weekly and live locally, I would be more than happy to do a postcard for anyone who needs one! If you mail them from in the park you get a really neat postmark, too, my mom goes to the park just to send mail to friends for special occassions for the postmark!

I have a really neat Disney font on my computer and have made some in the past for friends with Mickey's writting on them.

The last few times I mailed cards from the parks, the CM's told me they were just taken to the Anaheim post office. You can get a stamp at City Hall, but it's just a rubber stamp and not a post mark. Are you sure they are doing a special post mark again?
