For those of you that have stayed at the Fairmont Waterfront in Vancouver, if you were able to see the Disney ship from your room, which view/room type did you book? Thank you.
We had a Deluxe Partial Habor View, King room and we were able to see both ships docked at the port. When the Wonder docked, we could see her, but we had to look at an angle, due to the room location, but we could see her
We were in the Fairmont Gold Suite because we are a family of 5 - that was cheaper than doing two rooms. We are east coasters, so we were all up to watch the Wonder sail into port that morning, it was very exciting. The views of the entire harbor and bridge are really nice from there. And since that is concierge level, you can see both ships from the rooftop deck where breakfast is served. It was a great way to start vacation. Highly recommend.

How did you like your stay there? I'm debating since I was at pan pacific and it was good. I liked how it was underneath at the port. Seems like waterfront is connected under as well or at least crossing the street. Unless do they have porters that can help transfer luggage to port?

We stayed on 16th floor city 2 queen beds city view and unfortunately didn’t see the ship come in. We could see Canada Place in the reflection on the building we were facing though. Lol
We sure had interesting trip though, fire alarm went of at 2am and entire hotel was evacuated. Guess someone was smoking on the 10th and didn’t put out their cigarettes on the balcony. It was 2hours of fun just standing around next to the convention center then waiting in the lobby for 4 tiny elevators to get the entire hotel back in their rooms. Stairs was closed off. Only way up was the elevator.

We stayed there for our Alaska cruise years ago and had a good view of the harbor. One of my favorite memories (and videos and pictures) of the cruise was my two girls with noses pressed up to the window watching Mickey’s boat…oh the anticipation! I have a faint memory that you can also see it come in to the dock from public areas…maybe the pool area…but cannot recall for sure!

Yes they transferred our luggage for us, it was super easy. We just walked across the street. The stay was lovely. We had excellent service from everyone there and the food at the hotel was good too. I would do it again but I'm sure the Pan Pacific is great as well.

We were able to see the Wonder. Amazing view! It was 5 years ago so I can't remember the room number. It was a waterfront category room. Wonderful hotel.
