do any of you know how you check your balance on this card when away as am a bit confused as to how it works? thankyou.

I have just recently got one of these - I think you can check your balance at an ATM or by mobile text. You may also be able to check balance at point of sale but not so sure about that.

I usually keep a running total but check online a couple of times when I get to an internet cafe

I seem to remember that one of the big Supermarkets allows you to check on your receipt but not sure which one.......Publix or Target maybe

You can't check at an ATM, unfortunately.

We don't normally have internet access when away so I normally just keep a notepad of how much I've started with and then what I've spent since. Works out fine for us, but sometimes I do forget what I've spent, lol.

The only way to check on the total is via the Internet, if we don't have our laptop we usually check it at Disneyquest.
We usually keep a running total too if we are away from the Internet.

whilst packing yesterday with DD I came across my old fairfx card.Valid till 10/2011.Can someone tell me if I can still use this and put funds onto it and where do I do it. Still have £200 to change and would rather put it on here than take my debit card.Also I dont have a pin number so is there Anywhere that wont accept it?

You go onto the website and log in at the top right of the page and it gives you an option to top up your account.

You wont need to use the pin for purchases as there is no chip and pin system in the US. You will omly need to use your pin to draw from an ATM.
