We were thinking of staying here in July, how are the rooms? I was reading on their web site and the rooms are only 238 sq feet?? Are the rooms really small? Any info would be great. There is 5 of us in a room.

We stayed here in April 2008 and we loved it!! We were 2 adults(mom & me) and 2 teenagers(DD16 & DS17 at the time) and we felt we had plenty of room!! and the beds were sooooo comfy... I would've loved to sneak that bed out and take it home if I thought I could get away with it!!!!
I'll check to see if I have any good pics of the room and post em!!
Nope no pics, just close ups of kids on beds and in front of bathroom door no good shots of room sry!!!

we will be there in August and I picked this motel because it has rave reviews. it also is the one motel that is doing the 5 for 3 special.

I apoloized that I don't have any pictures of the rooms but rest assured the rooms are a great size for 5. How do I know? Because we had 6 (sshhh, don't tell) and it was just right for us. Sleeping arrangements were DH, me and 3.5 DD in one bed, 2 DS's in the other bed and the last DS was in the pull out chair/bed. Sharing the one bathroom was the only downfall for this family. But we made it work.
My DH is very sensitive to smells and he said that our room smelled great. The decor is bright and cheery. Extra pillows and towels were brought up promptly when asked for. The pool was clear and sparkling with towels poolside. THey have Pizza Hut in house for lunch or dinner and there's Seattles Coffee for the wake up go go juice in the AM. McD's is right out front as well as Millie's restaurant, perfect for grabbing a muffin and java on the way to the parks and dessert on the way back to your room.
I really think you made a good choice. If we didn't luck out on a great deal at DLH we would definately be there!!!

There are lots of pictures on www.tripadvisor.com. Most of them are the King bed room but there are one or two of the rooms with 2 beds. The room that my husband and I stayed in had a King size bed and a full size sleep sofa. We felt that there was plenty of room, but it was just the 2 of us.
